Welcome to Galveston Strand Lofts, 201, located in Historic Downtown Galveston. Imagine having a front row seat to all the exciting events we offer. Strand street is the place to be downtown, and located just steps from the front door you will find the best restaurants and shopping the island has to offer. You are located just blocks from the cruise terminal as well. The balcony access is the place to be for a bird's eye view of all the local events such as Mardi Gras or the Lonestar Rally. Shopping, entertainment, food, and adventure seeking are all right outside your door. Within walking distance you can enjoy watching the dolphins in the Galveston channel, touring the historic ship Elissa, taking a dolphin tour, or walking through the variety of trains at the Galveston Railroad Museum. Don't forget your swimsuit as our beaches are located just a short ride away.

From the moment you enter this beautiful lofted condo you will feel right at home. This home offers a place to experience Galveston in a truly unique and luxurious way. The original hardwood floors, brick accents, and large picture windows add an old world charm while the modern amenities offer all the comforts of home. When you step through the door you will be taken by the soaring ceilings. You will find an open-concept living room and kitchen area. The kitchen is sure to make you feel right at home, offering all the essentials needed for the chef in your group. The living room boasts comfortable furniture, a smart TV, and dramatically tall ceilings and windows, flooding the area in natural light. Just outside the living area window, relax on the balcony and enjoy your view overlooking the Strand.

You will find the primary bedroom downstairs complete with a king bed and unique open bathroom area. You will find balcony access through this bedroom as well. The raised bathroom features a beautiful clawfoot tub. The remaining bedroom is located on the second floor with a queen bed and staircase that takes you to two twin beds. The upstairs bath boasts a shower. You will find a twin over twin bunk bed just off the living area as well as a sofa bed for additional sleeping accommodations.

There is NO PARKING at this building but there is a garage 2 blocks away! Unload in front, then park the car. You are downtown so you won't need a car and a trolly runs between the Strand and Beach all day.

We had a great time staying in this perfect location, central to all the fun! We had a plumbing issue, but it was resolved quickly. The balcony was so nice to sit out on and enjoy the weather and people. We would stay here again and again and plan on doing so. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay
This was in a great place to stay for the chili and beer fest we were a block from all the activity. The kids loved all the space and the balcony. No elevator from the street level up to our apartment was a little hard on my 80 year old mother, but she made it through. Just so others know its a good flight of stairs. The place could use a good cleaning for dust and corners, but nothing that would stop us from staying here. But otherwise our stay was wonderful. It had ample dishes, sheets, pillows, and plenty of space. The host contacted me early to connect, but we didn't need anything. We parked on the street at night for free and in a parking lot for $18.00 a day.
