So comfortable
This property is a lovely old house surrounded by a very large garden., so there is plenty of space to sit outside. My dog and I have stayed here twice due to visiting relatives. However it would be an excellent base to visit Lincoln and surrounding areas. There are also excellent dog walks from the property. My room, which is shown in the picture with the 4 poster, is very spacious and has a large bathroom with separate dressing area and is very clean.

Thank you for letting us stop at your house, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent, our dogs really enjoyed it as well 🤣 Was absolutely wonderful talking to you both over breakfast, which was really really nice, on the Sunday morning. Thank you again for letting us stop, next time we'll stop for longer 👍

We enjoyed four nights here and couldn't have wished for more. The rooms were superb, very spacious and everything we could have wanted. Imogen and Terry are excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. And then of course there was Basil! Gorgeous and very friendly too! We'll be back!

Most enjoyable
A charming old rectory in the process of being updated. My room was very spacious with a huge en-suite and dressing area. All beautifully decorated in keeping with the age of the property but with modern facilities and a Smart TV. The four poster bed was very comfortable. Good internet connection. The hosts were charming and helpful and I will return when I next visit family in Gainsborough.

Lovely B&B with plenty of character
The size of the room, walk in dressing room and bathroom are typical of the period property - large! The Old Rectory is a lovely place to stay and the hosts were very welcoming to us and our two dogs. Lea is a lovely place and Lincoln isn't too far away. We were recommended a walk along the canal into Lincoln which we did with the dogs, it's a very dog friendly area! Breakfast was lovely and laid out in the paneled dinning room. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
