Apologies if I misspell Loren’s name! Loren was exceptional! He went out of his way to help with our luggage! After he noticed I had mobility issues, he switched us from the 4th floor to the 1st floor. Beyond accommodating! Grazie mille, Loren!

This hotel is very convenient to everything in Florence and is almost directly across from the train station. It’s been very hot in Italy this week. Air conditioning worked great! No elevator though, if you need one. The desk clerk carried our bags though…he was very kind. The desk is not attended overnight, but it’s very secure with a locked gate and door. They also leave a number if you need anything (we did not).

The hotel Lombardia is in prime location close to the train station and walking distance to all the attractions like the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio - only drawback was that there are no elevators and we were on the second floor - the staff were friendly and helped us with getting the luggage down.
