Secluded, beautiful get away
This house is really nice and a perfect spot for 2 adult couples. Bedrooms with their own bathrooms on either side of the cabin, a beautiful overlook balcony of the river, and huge windows everywhere to take in the scenery. The owner was really nice and easy to communicate with via text and gave helpful instructions to find the place. It is far off the main road so I suggest traveling in an SUV or a car well off of the ground. My only star taken was for the accuracy of the listing as it says there’s a hot tub or whirlpool in the amenities list, but there isn’t one on the property. It absolutely did not take away from the experience. I would absolutely stay here again. It’s conveniently located in the midst of a bunch of cideries, breweries, and wineries. Only 25 minute straight shot to Charlottesville. Highly recommend.

Peaceful
We just completed our stay at this beautiful property. It was exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin (although the word cabin doesn’t do it justice) is brand new and couldn’t be in a more perfect location. Our favorite part was sitting on the deck overlooking the peaceful, rippling river. There are no other houses in close proximity, so all you hear is the river and birds! Even though the cabin is isolated, it is still an easy drive to grocery stores, wineries, breweries etc. We also enjoyed the groomed trail along the river. Beds were comfortable, WIFI worked well, even on the deck, and the host, John, was very responsive to our questions.

Great Stay
We traveled to Virginia for our friends wedding in Charlottesville and wanted somewhere not in the hustle and bustle of the town to spend the rest of our vacation time. This cabin was about 35-40 min from the venue and it was perfect. There were some wineries pretty close and a grocery store about 15 min away. The scenery was so beautiful and the weather was perfect for just hanging outside by the fire pit.

Our stay canceled due to heating problem
Our stay was canceled by owner due to heating problems. For all its worth, Mr Howard did everything in his power to make it right. He was willing to pay for a hotel room near by for our inconvenience. We were looking foward to staying at his place cause of the veiws. Great owner, thank you Mr. Howard. Hope maybe next year we can rent the Cabin. Things happen 😍😍😍

Great place overall
Had a wonderful time at this cabin and enjoying the area. The cabin has most of the essentials and is comfortable for 2 small families. The views are the best part of the property. Would definitely rent again.
