Great property with amazing amenities
This is an amazing place to stay. Super clean with every amenity you could ask for. Super convenient and central location along with a dog friendly and large yard made it even better!

This is our 2nd time staying at this location. Flora is a great host. The home is equipped with anything you will need. This visit we decided to bring our Yorkies. They too enjoyed the stay. Nice fenced yard was perfect for them.

Nicholas and his family were very tidy and quiet. Although we didn’t interact, I’m very impressed on how quiet and tidy they were during their stay. In Eureka. I do hope to have them come again.

Great central location for visiting the area
Flora’s place is spotless and very well equipped. We chose Eureka as a place to hang our hats because it is centrally locates for everything we wanted to do from hiking the Redwoods in Prairie Creek to the north to hiking and driving Avenue of the Giants to the south and everything in between. Great spot in Eureka
Clean, central location, and dog friendly! A great spot to spend time in Eureka & explore the surrounding areas. The backyard was so lovely and all amenities were provided- we even made dinner all three nights using the well equipped kitchen. Thanks!

Comfortable Home in Eureka
My daughter and I were very comfortable during our stay in this beautifully decorated and very well maintained guest house. It is located on a quiet residential street. The house is well furnished and has a fully fenced backyard that is perfect for the family dog. We highly recommend this rental property for your next stay in Eureka.

Nice clean property
Property looks exactly like photo. Very clean and cozy and located toward the middle of Eureka. We had a little trouble getting in, as our code wouldn’t work but the owner was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Had an amazing weekend getaway. Absolutely loved the cute little duplex Flora had let us stay in. It was adorable and very clean. I felt right at home. Eureka Stay 2019
Dropped my daughter off for next year at Humboldt State University and was lucky enough to rent this home during my visit there. The rental was clean, very well stocked with all essentials, along with the added touches that made my time there really comfortable. Very comfortable place in central part of Eureka
The unit is immaculate and very well equipped. The owner supplied condiments, coffee, oil and vinegar, peanut butter and a whole lot more. You can leave your car in the garage. Eureka is a very interesting place and has a number of good restaurants at reasonable prices. This is the oyster capital too.

Perfect Redwood Base Camp!
The duplex was in a great location to be able to head both north and south to enjoy the many parks and great outdoors of the area. The unit was amazingly clean with all the amenities one could ask for, a rare find for those of us who have become used to traveling with all our own supplies - one could come with nothing and have everything they need! We had one small question, and Flora’s reply was immediate! We appreciate the great care you have given to the property and your visitors, and we thank you so much for allowing us to stay.

The property was clean and welcoming. Flora had set out information and brochures of things to do in the area. Even though we brought our own toiletries, Flora supplied soap, toothbrushes and lotion. It was a very nice touch. We will definately try to book this property again

Clean modern duplex in central Eureka
Clean and neat with all the necessities available. Attached garage plus off-street parking available. A fenced yard with lawn, perfect for a dog to be let loose. Owner responded immediately when there was a minor problem with lock box. I'm mentioning this as a plus. I would return.

Comfortable and secure
We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It has wonderful amenities, such as dishwasher, coffeemaker, washer/dryer (though we didn't need to use them) and inside garage parking, with use of the garage door opener. The fenced yard is very secure and we had no worries about our little dog escaping. It's a very comfortable refuge, with excellent climate control.

I was very thankful to stay in such a nice place with my husband and our two dogs. The backyard is quite large with a very secure fence. The home was nicely furnished and I especially liked the comfy couches. There was a garage and a washer and dryer which was very convenient. It was seriously a home away from home. We were welcomed with a delicious box of chocolates which was a nice touch!

Very nice home for the area. Flora and Glen are great to work with!
Flora went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. From the fresh baked bread that greeted us to the very well stocked kitchen items and linens, everything made us feel at home. We were there one month and other than a couple of hiccups, the stay was relaxing and quiet. Having a garage is a huge bonus I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Eureka. The home is located central to old town, the zoo and the mall. It is very close to a grocery store and the wonderful farmers market at Henderson Center. I would recommend this home to anyone staying in the Eureka area.

Lovely home that is relaxing to stay in. Truly a "home away from home" as is Flora's intention.
Flora has created a really special place for her visitors and has stocked it with most everything one could need during a stay, and amazingly, even more items than one would probably expect in a VRBO! I also felt very safe as the home has a garage and a security screened front door. And yes, to Flora you are her visitor she cares for with attention to detail and compassion. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Flora's again!

We loved the place! The cleaning fee was very high! $$
We loved our stay and the home was well equipped and cozy. The fresh made bread upon arrival was delightful. I gave 4 stars due to the cleaning fee. I was charged $150 for cleaning, and then instructed upon checkout to empty all of the trash cans and take them outside. I was also instructed to strip the linen from the beds and collect all used towels throughout the unit and place them into the laundry baskets in the garage. For $150... There isn't a lot left to perform after I had done all of that. Standard fee is usually $50, unless there is a hot tub that needs to be cleaned. I visit Eureka frequently and the cleaning fee may sadly keep me from booking this unit in the future.

It was nice to have Michael and his wife as guests in my home away unit. I'm glad that enjoyed their stay. I do hope they will come back again. As to my standard cleaning fee; the unit is a good size, I use a checklist to thoroughly clean, wash and sanitize all surfaces including floors, kitchen counter tops, appliances, electronics, etc., throughout the apartment. That way my guests can relax during their stay and not have to spend time cleaning a 2 Bed/2 bath apartment before they leave.It seems to have worked well thus far.

Perfect stay!
Flora thought of everything for our stay in Humboldt County. Flora is welcoming and a very kind spirit. Her home was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast items were in the refrigerator and she even made us some incredible homemade bread, which we quickly finished. Flora was also very gracious and accommodated us coming early and my scheduling error by allowing us to stay an extra day. We will definitely return to Flora's and hope to stay in touch even when we're not in Humboldt. Thanks Flora. We hope to see you soon.

JoAnn and her husband were here for their sons’s college graduation. We met up a few times and chatted as if we were old friends. They’re pup was so relaxed and she too was very layed back. I’m greatful that I had the opportunity during their stay to make them feel at home. I will keep in touch with these special travelers and I look forward to seeing them again. In the meantime. The property owner was nice but you can tell very new at what she's doing
It was easy and convenient the property owner was very nice but you can tell that she was new doing this kind of business our fire detectors went off a few times over us cooking when she arrived at the house immediately each time she come in and seen that there was no fire it was just smoke coming from corn on a cob she calls the fire department and has them come to the property that was nuts then I had to rental agreements the first one said nothing about no smoking Etc then she had a problem with me smoking a cigarette if I knew I couldn't smoke in the house I would have never got that property the rental agreement did not say anything about no smoking there was multiple things on the 1st rental agreement that wasn't on the second the second rental agreement I got when I checked out and it had multiple stuff on there that wasn't even in the first anyways it was more of a hassle than it was fun I couldn't cook I couldn't do anything and it felt crappy anyways other than that if you don't smoke cigarettes or hemp and you don't want to cook then your best bet is to not stay at tht property and don't make any noises or anything at all just saying

Everything you need!
