Overall good stay. Check in and our process was simple and streamlined. One feedback is around the tea and coffee in room, which is something needed to be purchased on the 7th floor. It was... against the normal tide... to have these basic amenities not in the room. A simple tray with a kettle, tea bags and insta coffee would set the tone and mood of the experience higher

I like Citizen M as a hotel and recently stayed in Miami, I like the aesthetic and environment. Staff at Copenhagen hotel were great, lady that checked us in was so great and welcoming. Breakfast was good, good range of choice, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, hot food, pastries. My only negative was there was still hair on the shower and bathroom floor, hopefully just a one off but not the nicest start. Other than that the location was absolutely perfect at Town Hall Square and couple of stops for hop on hop off bus just a 5min walk.

“If you’re ready for luxury, style and an epic sleep” cries its web site …… well don’t expect to get it here. Despite the staff being excellent when the rooms are controlled by technology and technology fails, we were left frustrated. Firstly after check in we were not able to gain access to our room for the first evening without a receptionist walking us to our room each time. As everything in the room is controlled by an iPad, we had blackout blinds going up when we wanted them down, no control over the room temperature, little or no TV, we felt we had a limit of about 10 minutes max before it switched itself off and left us unable to switch it back on again. Next doors rooms worked ok and were a great alarm each morning as we could hear their blinds through the walls. We were also quite surprised to have to request for our room to be made up each day something I thought would be normal in a “luxury” hotel We raised all these issues with the reception team who tried to reboot our room with some but not total success and with the hotel being full we couldn’t change rooms. Technology aside, the rooms are very small, the width of a king sized bed and length of approx 3 including a shower/loo pod. One person has to climb over the other to get into bed or if sleeping on the square bed the other way round, one person will bang themselves on the desk when getting out and have no bedside light. Location is near Tivoli gardens is ok. Breakfast adequate.

It is a very unique and modern hotel in a perfect location. The room was small but good for one person, and it was well-appointed. Best of all, it was CLEAN! The staff is wonderful. I loved the funky artsy-casual lobby/living/dining area. Great coffee and breakfast.

Overall it was an ok stay. The cleaning staff didnt clean the room as often as I requested in the app, but I was compensated by front desk staff with free breakfast. The way which after stay luggage is stored is frustrating for the first time use as its on the ground floor compared to the front desk on the 7th, this long process should be explained as check in so you can give it extra time. My room had a terrible view of a brick wall, not what you want during a relaxing break. Also power sockets really need to be by the bed, as im someone with a Cpap machine that needs a power source to stay alive whilst sleeping this was a hazard to have the wires streached that far across the room.
