Upon first arrival at night, I thought what an earth had we booked. Very darkened exterior . Not enough lighting. However, upon entering our room it was amazing. Large lounge, bathroom with deep bath, and comfortable bed, air conditioning, good wifi, breakfast and room service. . Definitely a great home away from home.

Reception shuts off at 6 but the key was left out. The rooms can be accessed form inside or out but outside there is no room number that I could see at night to let me know which door to access when getting things form my car.

Good for 2 night stay.
Comfortable motel style accommodation. Close to centre of Collie. It would be good if there were flyscreens on the windows so that they could be opened without mozzies coming in. This would save having to use the aircon so much and be better for the environment.

No mirror and dim lights!
The bed was clean and comfortable - BUT the lighting was dreadful. There were 2 mismatched and very dim lights in the bathroom where the only (small) mirror was located. It was completely impossible to put on makeup and there was no full length mirror in the room so you couldn't check how you looked. Apart from that it was OK - just remember to bring your own lighting and mirror!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Banksia Motel,the staff were very friendly, the room was very spacious very large relaxing bath and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. The property is close to shops and restaurants. We felt very safe. We would definitely recommend the Banksia Motel.

Comfort in Collie
Welcoming Gentleman at reception who showed me the spacious suite and explained the facilities, parking etc. Excellent continental breakfast. Certainly stay there again.

We had a huge room with comfy beds and everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and had an awesome shower! It was the only place, at least that was available at the time, that had a pool and with our child participating in a swimming carnival that weekend we were very glad he had an opportunity to warm up in the pool.
