Room was comfortable, however the cleaning staff need to do a better job. Cups in cupboard were dirty, one with "crusty" stuff all on inside, shower/bath screen and walls had not been cleaned and windows on sliding door covered in greasy fingerprints.

Good value accommodation. Unit was clean and tidy. Shower gel dispenser in shower - great! Shower nozzle low Parking right outside the unit, but can be awkward to park depending on the number of other cars around. Very little noise dampening between units. Happy to stay here again if price is competitive.

Good showers and beds
No frills basic motel room suitable for a one night stopover on Christmas Day. Good pressure in the shower, comfy beds, quiet room. Good value for money based on what else was on offer in Christchurch at the time. We appreciated them letting us check in early (12pm) after our original plans changed.

Property was ageing but reasonable, good price and great restaurant Needed minor repairs to bathroom crack in bath and needed clean shower curtain.Had no place to hang towels or cloths in bathroom. Otherwise O.K.

Room overpoweringly stunk of nutmeg/cinnamon.nowhere to fill jug except over the grubby bath shower where everyone washes off their filth..very third world for nz Best veiw of this motel was in my rearveiw mirror as i left without a morning coffee

Easy access with restaurant. Maintenance issues, faulty lights, bathroom wall panels not fastened to wall, shower head needed cleaning and extractor fan needed cleaning to which made it very noisy. Trucks parked outside made huge amount of noise on start up early in the morning.

In general the unit was ok. BUT the there was mold around the windows and dust on top of anything it could collect on. Even the heaters were very dusty. Beds badly made. Sheets weren't even tucked in properly & blanket half way down bed almost. But kitchen shower & toilet were all clean

Old school motel.
This is an old school motel. Nothing flash but all the basics of a hotel room is there. Quiet location in a residential area opposite the racecourse was great. Traditional sports bar and restraunt on site also makes it worthwhile.
