The suite was very modern and comfortable. Loved the coffee shop beside the building. All major attractions and shopping were within walking distance which was a real bonus. I would stay here again.

As we were there for the first time we took the location under consideration and the location at this stay was very convenient because it was not too far from central Catania. The view was absolutely beautiful as well.

Excellent place for a few days in Catania. Easy walk to centre and a great coffee shop/bar in the square outside the property. Would highly recommend. Only downside was the noise from the street was a bit loud into the night so may not suit those who struggle to sleep with road noise.

Convenient accommodation with contractless check-in. The location is on the outside of the main centre but it's still very close, 10 minutes walk. Opposite a lovely church/tower and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Staff always responded to our questions on the expedia messages too so no issues.

Pleasant stay in Catania

Nice accomodation with contactless in person meeting with owner.Traffic noise most of 24 hours but well situated for all sights and activities in Catania. Up on a hill so beware many steps or steep roads to reach it.

You get what you pay for

Location was good. Not far from all the action, not too close so it is a little quieter. The room wasn't ready when we arrived even if we arrived at 3pm which was communicated to the owner ahead of time. We managed to get in the room an hour later. The room was dirty. The room size is great but the bathroom is very, very small! I mean, it's hard to turn around within it if the door is closed... The area is pretty busy therefore a little noisy. Not much the owner can do about it. Air conditioning works well. There is no onsite parking. You have to find parking on the street which can be a challenge.

More like the servants quarters, not the Palace

To call this a place a “Palace” is extremely misleading to say the least!!! -No wine opener. We had to find a restaurant to open our bottle of wine. -Wine glasses were dirty. -I had to wash them. -No napkins or paper towels. - Sponge under the sink was old and used. -My husband had to get up on a chair to get the A/C working and to turn off. - photo below is the boarded up church across the street from the “palace” “Benedetti Palace” is one floor, three rooms of a large, large building - fortunately stairs were well lighted - very dark after you step through the “stable doors”

The management or owners were very unapologetic about the lack of hygiene in the accommodation. Toilet tissue was out in the bathroom with no paper or plastic covering ….appearing to have been used by the previous tenant. The cup in the bathroom was full of grunge. I washed from the previous …many months of dirt build up. They didn’t take the time to prepare to have guests after having a tenant for 6 months. When I pointed out the disappointment of the walls being filthy, etc., the response was that it wasn’t his fault since they had a tenant for 6 months this winter… So, was it the tenants fault for not doing paint touch ups….there should have been a waiver stating that the apartment was filthy from the 6 month tenant and they have no intention of cleaning or doing paint touch ups until November until all the paid guests have come and gone. The only highlight was the view….but it came at a huge cost….tour buses, trucks and bumper to bumper traffic for all hours beginning from early morning. I have travelled the world extensively for many years and this place in good conscience I could not recommend.

Il vero problema è la descrizione “exclusive suite” che alza di molto le aspettative e poi ti trovi nell’androne che porta all’ingresso dell’abitazione che è più paragonabile all’ingresso dell'infermo di Dante ma solo più fatiscente, per il resto è ok ma avrei segnalato che in un appartamento di forse 60 m2 (il che ritengo essere molto grande) ci si ritrova dentro un bagno di forse 2,5 m2 e quindi senza bidet! Ripeto l’avrei segnalato specialmente per una cliente come quella italiana che fa davvero fatica a farne a meno.
