Nice hotel with relatively new facilities, but there’s road work outside of the hotel so not very convenient if you have baby stroller. Swimming pool is more like a long version of jacuzzi and leisure playpool, but very decent and family friendly. Staff is excellent but didn’t expect to have long queue for breakfast, seems it’s just happened to peak season so downtime should be good. Good stay overall and we like the apartment design :)

It was frustrating to watch the lifts by-pass my floor many times before stopping. It took about minutes to get down (floor 3) when it should have been pretty instantaneous. I almost took the stairs then decided to wait so I could tell you this. It seemed to only recognise that it was being called from the ground floor only. Otherwise the hotel was great and the staff were brilliant. I booked through Expedia and had changed the dates, and they sent me confirmation of the new details but neglected to advise the hotel. The staff sorted me out and were able to get me into a room.

The shower didn’t drain away so the whole bath room floor was soaked and the fire alarm decided to malfunction at 0430 on Saturday am for a period of one hour. All we got as a sorry was a single house drink voucher when there were two of us. Hilton you can do better. Other than that great bar staff lovely hotel brilliant pool

The hotel itself is lovely - clean and well maintained. Local area wasn’t very nice due to lots of roadworks. It’s a bit of a walk into town, the first part is main roads but then it’s nice once you get into the park across the river. Room was being cleaned at 7pm which was odd as we had been out from 8am. We also had a staff member try to enter our room at 9pm due to an error, but it was a bit scary. Otherwise an enjoyable stay!

Well worth a visit
Really enjoyed our 3 night break at this hotel. Check in was easy despite being a bit early.We were offered an upgrade to an apartment room for a small charge per night which we took. The hotel vibe was great with soft jazz/chill music throughout ground floor. Enjoyed a swim and sauna plus had a nice dinner in the Folio Kitchen. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. For us it was an easy walkable distance to Cambridge city centre.

We stayed for one night for my daughter’s birthday. It was perfect on every way. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There was a relaxed feel about the place. The food was wonderful- such large portions. The room was comfy and spacious. Our daughter loved the pool. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Our rooms were very well laid out and the quality of everything was high. Comfortable bed and bedding. Only small negative is that I would have liked to have been able to make the room a bit cooler, for sleeping.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were quiet and the whole hotel was emmaculate, as was the attentiveness of staff. The parking does feel a little expensive but all in all a wonderful experience which we would repeat.

We had a very stay staff were really pleasant easy walking distance to the centre. Parking is a bonus as there’s not much long stay in the centre. Hotel was lovely decorated and clean. We didn’t have food so can’t comment.

Excellent Experience
Really good hotel, very pleasant interior, lovely room very spacious indeed. Ideal part of Cambridge for us, parking was excellent if not cheap but in a nice safe facility below the hotel. Staff are friendly and almost too polite! It's not a cheap place but if I am returning to the area it's the only hotel I'd consider.

However, we understand your concerns about breakfast not being included and the cost of on-site car parking. While breakfast in many Hilton hotels is not included in the standard room rate, it is possible to choose a rate that does include breakfast during the booking process. Car parking, as in many city centres, is at a premium and Cambridge is no different. We have a limited number of parking spaces and we believe we offer a high quality, safe and secure but limited self-parking service to our guests. The choice for our guests is to park on the road near the hotel, some of the these which are close are residential only or chargeable. We booked 2 family rooms, and they are actually suites with a sofa bed. Room is very spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was not central, but within 10 min drive to Cambridge town center.
