House was all that we expected top scores. We only had internet for first day of our stay. One of the reasons we had booked was the availability of internet as our son in law needs access for his business. We had no point of contact to get internet back up. He had to spend every day sat outside the bar working.

Lovely home from home
We stayed in camellia (no.15) for 4 nights. It’s on hustyns resort, a ten minute country road from wadebridge. The house was ready early. It was very clean and well equipped although we didn’t cook. Great to have three bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of friends. The first floor is like a huge suite with a super king bed, very large bathroom, sauna and terrace. We used the restaurant once. The food was good and the staff were friendly but there are lots of choices nearby. We would particularly recommend The Earl Of St. Vincent pub in Egloshayle and Dollies cafe for breakfast. The whole site was pretty quiet (20-24 June). The facilities we saw were a play area, pool, small bar snd restaurant. I would very much recommend this property but only if you don’t mind having to drive everywhere. I would return

Spacious property!
The Hustyns resort itself was clearly once a very upmarket one. The Lodge itself was explained to be have been sold off along with some others to private owners. The property was extremely spacious and the two adults and three pre teens had plenty of space. There were a few issues that manifested themselves during our stay. Some of the towels and bedding did not appear to have been refreshed before our arrival. Not an obvious thing but just odd how towels had been found hanging on the hooks in the bathroom and not folded. Bath mats were scattered across the floor as if used as well. Not sure if that was the case we gave benefit of doubt. The house was warm and plenty of hot water the first night but the boiler pressure had dropped the following morning and it refused to fire up. After sending the owner a message, via VRBO and still after three days not reply! I went to find the hotel manager. He pointed out they had no connection with the property but seeing how my family had no hot water or heating after a day out on the beach, sent two of the hotel maintenance guys straight round to see if they could help. They had no joy but did contact a plumber used by the hotel. The manager himself came to the property and with the help of a plumber on a FaceTime call managed to get the pressure sorted on the boiler and it functioning properly. So full marks to the hotel and it’s manager for rising to the situation and showing that customer service does exist still! The fact that nobody has still responded to my VRBO submitted message is quite appalling and shows there are flaws in the system that provides back up when needed.
