Good check in but not enough staff on bar considering they had a function on. What can I say about the restaurant its chaos. Know one knows what they are doing we ordered starter and mains all came out together,we ordered a bottle of good wine with which we had to ask twice where it was after 1/2 an hour it appeared with the cork in it and warm wine glasses ( I went to get glasses from the bar) after 45 minutes we where still waiting for our main meal which we sent back earlier. We left the restaurant to try and make a complaint before I got to reception the restaurant manager ran after me trying to tell me that the hotel was busy and even when i explained what happened he just kept telling me that everyone is busy. We booked the hotel as it was supposed to be the beginning of our holiday before we flew away well we where very disappointed.

The service at this hotel has declined substantially since I last stayed a few years ago. There is only one restaurant which gets really busy and the food is awful. Service was exceptional slow for dinner. Radisson Blu was a respected name in the industry- this one at Stansted really lets the brand down. I would never stay here again

Actually nothing wrong with the staff, they were OK. They just seemed to be bound by a series of unfathomable rules. If you sit at this table you have to order at the bar, the bar is table service only. There is no food served in this area despite there being condiments on the table. Nice people working in a bit of a sh****ow in my opinion. It’s a very specific sort of hotel catering for a very specific, one night, clientele. I don’t believe it can be that difficult to match needs to service.

Avoid this property. We were moved to three different rooms with one of them resembling a crime scene. Filthy, dirty rooms with furniture and decor falling to bits. The only saving graces were the patience and kindness of the Front of House Staff and the proximity to the airport itself.

Very nice and clean, helpful staff and lots of perks when you become a member. Didn’t like the air conditioning shut off in the middle of the night so room became very hot and humid. Generally good stay.

Rooms need upgrading and better cleaning. USB ports don’t work in any rooms. Temperature control is tempremental. Slow drainage in bathroom. Shower gel pumps are bad to use. Outdated shower fittings. Very poor and expensive coffee (4.50!)

Very good check in and check out. Drinks and food are very expensive (20 pounds for a small curry as an example) rooms are functional with good wifi and bed was very comfortable, was stains on the carpet and bed frame. Accessories were good. Great place for a 1 nights stay and close to the airport means 0 stress for check in.

Food was better than expected having read some of the reviews. Pork loin chop was delicious and fish and chips was lovely and certainly plentiful. When arriving in our room we did find some of the previous occupants underway under the curtain but we were offered a room move immediately.

Bad service from start to finish
Terrible service at check in, stood in a queue and when i got to the dront, i was ignored and the lady walked away. Even though there were two large queues. Luckily the person in the other queue saw what happened and he let me in the other queue. Then they could not find my reservation. Until i showed it on my phone. The reataurant service was not good. After eating i had to ask twice if i could pay. In the end i stood up and paid at the till. On a positive note, the food was great. In the room i had a dirty towel. To be honest, not what i waa exoecting from this hotel brand

Quick Stay, Ok for what was needed. Food…!
Having to book this hotel last minute as our booked hotel couldn’t accommodate us. Didn’t arrive until after 8.00pm Cold, wet, tied & hungry as our travel from London to Stansted took over 4 hours due to delays, cancellations & no-shows. Plus then wasting over an hour at our previous hotel at Stansted that hadn’t organised anything for us to stay. We arrived at the reception & was greeted friendly by the team. We were explained the hotel facilities & was explained over the weekend the pool is closed at 8pm. We then made our way to our bedroom which was clean, organised but a little basic. The view wasn’t the best of the bins, but it was late, dark & this was a quick stop-over. But we are staying at a hotel mainly for travellers going on holiday, which we were but having to leave by 5am the following morning. We had to get moving as we had to eat, shower & get to bed. We both chose a Chicken Caesar Salad with Sweet Potato Fries. Wow the portions were large (which isn’t a problem if we had known) & we could have taken just one & shared it. The salad was fresh, tasty & the chicken moist. I then chose a Sticky Toffee Pudding which wasn’t the best. It came out cold with a noticeable thick skin on to which I had to scrape away. I asked for the bill, payed & left. We got to bed just after 1am The following morning I woke up feeling very poorly. This I put down to either the Chicken or the Dessert. This is such a shame, why food procedures are not managed.

It did the job for a 5.15am walk to the airport.
Check in was ok. Room nice though getting a little tatty. Service for dinner was slow and probably the worst steak I’ve had. Even billed our drinks and desserts to another table which they wasn’t happy about.
