"A beautiful place, the room was well set out with beautiful facilities. Set high in the mountains. We were in the new building, lots of stairs to negotiate. We were asked to remove our shoes & use provided plastic sliders, this was inconvenient as we had to make several trips to our motorcycle. Breakfast was superb, wonderful quality. "We arrived at this lovely hotel to find that Expedia (hotels.com) had only forwarded a booking for one room, not the two we'd booked online. It appears this was not an isolated incident. Luckily the hotel could provide a room for the three of us but the mistake by hotels.com/could have ruined the most important part of our holiday."

"This is a very nice hotel, with wonderful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast is ample and varied -- eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cereal, toast, juices, coffees, etc. The hotel is in the exact center of town. There is extremely limited parking near the hotel, but lots of it about ten minutes' walk away. "

"We stayed at Hotel Alvanche in Sauze D’Oulx for our honeymoon, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a lovely balcony offering stunning views. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great variety of food to suit all tastes. It set us up perfectly for a day of skiing. The hotel’s heated boot room was an excellent feature, ensuring our skis and boots were dry and ready to go every morning. The location is unbeatable, with close proximity to the Clotes chairlift, making it incredibly convenient for getting onto the slopes quickly. We had an unforgettable week skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alvanche. It was the perfect base for our honeymoon, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Sauze D’Oulx."
