Nice property, great location
Had a great week with our teenage kids. We had another family staying in a unit they booked through the resort. Spent afternoons at the pool or beach and had the ability of cooking all our meals. Only ate out once, having ordered pizza from Village Host! So much fun… would love to snap up this unit for the same time next year.

Not as expected
When we arrived and were unpacking, we were greeted with a pile of dirty laundry. It looked as if they stripped the linens from the previous guest and gathered them in a pile, which they shoved in a closet. It was nasty. The condo had cracked outlets with pieces missing on the main floor. The place was otherwise ok. It’s close to the beach but quite a drive to Capitola and Santa Cruz. The add on fees a a bit of a bait and switch- they were more than the rental. I really felt we could have done much better for the cost, and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

Weekend in Aptos
The owner was very helpful to me during a difficult time. In my rush to pack when departing I missed packing some very memorable belongings. They reached out to me and made arrangements for my son who was in the area to pick up my belongings. I was so grateful for their help. The condo was very lovely and I highly recommend staying here.

Great for Family Vacation
Wonderful place for multi-generations to gather! We took advantage of the pool and playground for the kids. Sunset views were amazing. We hadn't realized that the beach was a bit of a walk to reach, but you can get a ride from the resort there and back on one of their golf-cart like buggies. There is a phone at the beach to call from for a ride back up to the unit. This was a highlight for the under 5 set.

We have stayed several times at Seascape. This is the first time we rented a unit through VRBO. We usually rent from the resort. The owner was wonderful to work with and any questions we asked she always got back to us within minutes. The unit was in a ideal location. We will definitely rent this unit again.

This was a great place to stay! The condo was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were easy. The resort is wonderful with a pool, hot tub, restaurant, gorgeous views and the beach. Ling was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and convenient
This property was very clean and conveniently located! It is right next to the south swimming pool. The unit is at the end so it was nice. Parking was very easy. It is also a few steps from the playground if you have kids. It was just a few minutes walk down to the beach, the trek up is quite an incline but it seems the resort does have a golfcart service. The view was beautiful, we will definitely return!

Insulated Oasis and Home Away from Home
I booked this property to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family as our home is being renovated due to the devastating fires in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We brought coolers of groceries and cooking items from home (just in case) and were able to have a special few days with family and enjoying the area in a new way. The kitchen isn't necessarily stocked with everything a chef could need, so be prepared to get creative or bring it yourself. And while the oven door gets stuck on the fridge, just open the fridge door and you can open it entirely (not ideal of course, but it works). Outside of the kitchen, everything else is clean and easy for a large family to use. Then, of course, there is the view and the property itself which is incredible. Having a corner unit is nice for fewer next door neighbors. Overall, if you are having any doubts, book this place... you won't regret it. This is a special gem in the gorgeous treasure chest of Santa Cruz County.

Lovely place to stay!
The property is well run and active. We felt safe in our townhome and the view was of the south bluff pool and the ocean beyond the bluff. It is about a 3/4 mile to walk down a paved path to the beach. They also offer fire pits on the beach on a first come first serve basis. This particular unit is right by where staff come and go with golf carts so there is some noise from that. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, I would reccommend this unit.

Enjoyed the stay despite maintenance issues
Great resort with excellent beach and amenities. Nice unit with easy access to the garage. A bit of a hike to the beach, but very close to the pool. Unfortunately, the dish washer was not working the entire duration of our stay, and the dryer was not working for first three days if our stay. The owner was very responsive, she purchased brand new linens at check-in since we couldn’t wash the old ones, and eventually was able to get the dryer fixed, but not the dish washer. Unfortunately we still had to wash dishes the entire stay. A discount would have been appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the resort to others.

Overall it was a nice place with a great view and had most of the things that would be needed as we are a family that likes to cook. With that being said the dishwasher and dryer were not working. I received an email from the owner the day of arrival at almost the same time as check in. There was no discount offered, which would have been nice. I do realize in the contract it does state no refund or credit would be given if appliances were not working. I just thought it would be a nice gesture. There was no cutting board available which was weird. Also the oven door could not open all the way due to interference with refrigerator.

Beachfront Condo in Beautiful Setting
This condo is located in a very nice development with well-kept grounds, a path which runs along the cliff above the beach, readily accessible from the condo, and a nice walk down to the beach itself, where you can walk for miles. Lovely location. The only slight drawback to the condo is that the central heating duct configuration heats the two floors inconsistently: it does not adequately heat the ground floor but does heat up the second floor.

Very clean and nice.
The hideaway beds only had sheets, so you may need to bring your own blankets for them. Plus know that the pool and hot tub closes at 10. Otherwise, the villa was beautiful, clean, and comfortable.

Excellent condo and location
As expected, the resort was beautiful and spacious. There were several other kids for our boys to play with in the pools and playground. Parking was easy. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked (it would be nice to add a bottle of cooking oil). We enjoyed the basket of DVDs, which had both old and new favorites. The owner was very nice and responsive. We look forward to returning in the future!

Beautiful resort and good location.
Very spacious townhouse. Very clean. A bit noisy because of golf carts stored in garage below townhouse. Carpet on steps is stained. Lovely view with 2 balconies! For the price this is a very good value.

First, Great communication with host & easy check in. Those were major pluses for us. The location of the property is perfect and the grounds are beautiful. As a side point- This unit is a non renting unit at the resort, so you are not able to request additional towels or bedding. Would have liked to have known this prior to arrival. The resort itself is beautiful. Great access to beach and most times very quiet. The resort has a wonderful restaurant and breath taking views from the cliffs. We thought our room was overlooking the ocean but instead the view from the room was of the pool and spa area. We didn’t really mind but thought it should be mentioned to future guests. We happened to come on a busy weekend and were up for over an hour one night while some teenagers decided to be very loud at the hot tub. The staff never came to remove them from the facilities. That was very disappointing. The room is plenty big & can sleep 6 comfortably. It does need some deep cleaning. We had encounter some not so clean dishes in the cabinet and comforters upstairs. The beds weren’t as comfy as I hoped and the furniture is a little outdated but overall it’s a nice place to stay....

Great house. The kitchen was stocked enough for our needs with a good variety of cookware. Lovely view and location. Easy check in and no problems communicating with manager. Wish the checkout time was after lunch. The carpet on the stairs was a little dirty, but everything else was wonderfully clean and ready for us.

The nicest condo in Seascape Resort
This property was updated, clean and the best condo that we have stayed at in the 12 years we have been coming to Seascape. The location is a bit noisy because of the housekeeping and maintenance offices being in the same area. But, the view and the condo itself is enough to forget about the noise.

Great location, good updates, EXCEPT filthy carpet, very haphazard glassware and cooking stuff one roll of TP per bathroom & no hand soap. one ounce of watered down dish soap. Lack of condiments. Could not get fireplace on and wifi didn't work...Update the amenities! Too expensive to have to supply the basics yourself....

Noisiest condo on site
This property has an unfortunate location within the complex, right above the workers garage. Every morning for hours you hear the gas powered golf carts, beeping as they back up; gas smell and sound as they accelerate. Construction ongoing in the garage right below, sounds of saw’s and hammers. Peaceful? Nope. Want to spend your vacation listening to that? If so stay next to a highway and pay 1/10th of the cost. The beach access is great, the large Seascape property is beautiful. However, the management of this complex needs to build a work garage and not use this unfortunate building to house there projects, golf carts, and employees. Owner not responsive to a resolution, complete waste of money and vacation time.
