Alright, here's the shorter version:
I'm not a fan of motels, but I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn Plus Ann Arbor, and it was surprisingly great.
The staff was casual, efficient, and fun to interact with. They made check-in a breeze, and their friendly attitude was a pleasant surprise.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, like surprisingly. What I was not expecting, was the selection of pillow options. How many affordable Hotels have pillow options?
I only needed a quick 11-hour rest during a road trip, so a full-service hotel seemed excessive. The only thing I'm not a fan of at motels is the door facing the outside, but my worries were eased by the sight of several guests enjoying a quiet bonfire.
In the end, the Red Roof Inn Plus won me over for the night. Their fantastic staff, comfy bed, and unexpected bonfire gathering made my short stay so pleasant. I may not be a motel enthusiast, but I'd definitely consider staying here again. Good job, Red Roof Inn Plus!
