Overall stay was okay. I was disappointment there was no one outside the hotel to help with my luggage. I had to carry my luggage ten steps up during my check in and check out. This establishment is not a handicapped/wheelchair friendly either.

The staff were wonderful. The hotel is a typical European hotel with the "base" rooms (the lower end cost wise) being subterranean and tiny. It was funky amd the floors were uneven in places, just like the old hotels in Europe. But the location can not be beat.

Bed Bugs! Stayed in March. Sewerage smell in lobby. Told of upgrade, but tiny room. Despite our late arrival, approx 10pm, Son's sofa bed not made. Asked for larger room, none available, given linens to make up sofa bed. Discovered bed bugs at 11:30 PM, couldn’t reach reception phone broken. Slept atop duvet. Morning: found more bugs, videoed, showed reception who were able to move us and to a larger room, surprisingly! no luggage help. Corridors leading to new room resembled staff quarters. Upon return and reflection we reached out by email and requested refund for our disturbed night, and subsequent disturbed nights with just the thought of bed bugs in mind, no response after reaching out twice. Even reached out to head office and no response. Would not stay again, would not recommend. If you still choose to stay after reading this review, then check your bed for bugs! Two of the reception team in particular were very efficient but the others were not interested, breakfast staff were pleasant just the sewage smell was off putting.

1)NO way to get heavy bags from the ground level up to the first floor other than to drag them up a flight of stairs. there is NO porter, NO help offered. 2)front desk clerks are frazzled, distracted, rude and unhelpful. Non existent customer care. 3)arrive at 2:30 pm told to come back (even though check in time is 2pm) Come back at 3pm given a room that’s NOT what I have a confirmation. 4)3rd attempt and ten more minutes: 5)Find a room and she says "I am upgrading you"!!!!! Whaaat - you are NOT upgrading me. This is the room I booked!!! 6)Spider webs and drapery is torn, cannot close. 7)lights don't work on bedside reading light - given a flashlight to read by! 8)bathroom so small you can barely move. Broken plug in sink, toilet not cleaned, shower stains not cleaned. Soap containers at sink and shower were COMPLETELY empty. Shower is a trickle. Water pressure so low, gadget to adjust between hot and cold never worked. 9)checkout a total failure in customer service. we paid in advance for breakfast but did not have time for it on our last day, asked for credit to be rudely told that since I paid in advance “it’s not usually done to refund” - so I said “listen, if it’s that important to you and you really need my money you can keep the 32€!” And then he doubled down on “it’s not usually done” attitude. Excuse me - I just overpaid for two nights of supreme discomfort in your shoddy hotel and you say that! They knew better than to ask me if I enjoyed my stay!

Primero darme una habitación inferior a la que pagué, y aunque nos cambiaron, la limpieza es horrible. Decía si usted quiere que limpien su cuarto pídalo con anticipación . Pues bien, por favor necesito que limpien todos los días, tenemos alergias , y si son 6 días cambien al menos una vez más la ropa de cama. “ no hay problema, así será.” Solo estiraban los edredones, dejaban la basura y el Baño ni lo tocaban . Regrese y me quejé, se miraban entre ellos y decían si mañana se le limpiara bien. A propósito dejé un Tylenol que se me callo y cositas en el piso, próximo día igual nada. Veníamos de Madrid Y Barcelona y que hoteles, limpieza y atención excelentes y precios. Aquí fue el súper caro con un servicio pésimo . Solo destacó a una chica filipina Ana, única todo el tiempo fue cortés y amable al punto que me dijo, no se preocupe yo llego a su cuarto y remuevo la basura del baño. Por supuesto le dije que no, que dejara que los de la limpieza lo hicieran. Fue la única que delante mío llamó a los de la limpieza, que por supuesto ni caso hicieron. ESTE HOTEL ES UN NO ROTUNDO.

Loved this Hotel. Situated in the Museum district, Leonardo Museum Hotel was within walking distance to many museums, restaurants, the canal, tours, transportation, and sites. The washroom was a little on the small side but clean. No conditioner for your hair, but we just bought some at the local grocery store. Breakfast at the Hotel was excellent. Staff was friendly, professional and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

I stayed in the Leonardo Boutique with my 2 children and the room was spacious enough to fit us all comfortably. The location was perfect for museums and restaurants as well as the park. The breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful. The only small thing was they had run out of cheese toasties on the day we checked out and needed lunch before travelling to the airport, which was a bit tricky with kids needing lunch, but otherwise I would highly recommend and I will definitely return without children at some point.

All's good for a central location hotel with this price. However the room did feel very dirty, it smells of carpet...the air in the room is very bad, even if you put the tag on to clean the room. They don't seem to clean it properly. The table still had bread crumbs from the last guest. The pillow smelled used too...

The room unfortunately was tiny, cramped & stuffy. The bathroom like a cupboard, the nets and blinds covered in mold. Cushions unfortunately had stains on, there was a humming /rumbling noise all night every night in the room, tiny window you could barely open. The cheapest toilet paper ive ever used! It was like sandpaper. I was so disappointed in our stay as it looks lovely online and inside the foyer. Wouldn't recommend if you like spending time in your room, and want to chill out as it's tiny! It is however in a nice area. And staff are helpful and welcoming.

Very handy for visiting the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, a short walk to area full of restaurants of all cuisines. Easy to walk to and around the canals. Express bus from airport drops off very nearby - tip - the return bus has a stop outside the Bols Museum or look for the Spar shop ( not so much the Marriott as the ticket suggests). Tap water drinkable, kettle in room and mini fridge. Nice decor. Friendly staff. ‘Cosy room’ absolutely fine for one - or two if not large people- bed against the wall on one side.Hotel is a few minutes walk from some of the canal cruise departures. I felt quite safe walking back to the hotel in my own. Didn’t try the breakfast or cafe but it looked nice.

A nice hotel, let down by a few factors.
Overall my stay was pleasant at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and it's a great location and was generally clean. A few issues i had were - The lobby smelt like sewage the whole time we were think, it was really off putting. It was enough to make us not want to use the bar or have breakfast in the morning. - The staff member who checked us in, told us we were getting a large room, with a garden view and a bath tub. We got none of these things. Seemed a bit odd to tell us all of this and not give us it. Our room was missing or low on general necessities, like our shower had no soap the first day and we were only given 1 toilet roll for the room. i would stay here again and it's a good hotel for the price, just slightly let down by a few factors.

Excellent Service
This hotel is in a prime location.Close to great museums, casino & dining options. The service at the hotel was excellent. The people at the front desk and the restaurant were so kind & helpful. Rooms were small but nice bathroom. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located close to upscale shopping and tons of restaurants and other stores. The tram service is very close as well. The room was small compared to North American standards but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the shower/bathroom was also clean. The placement of the faucet in the bathroom sink is a bit awkward but this is a tiny complaint. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

So close to the museum district. Five minute walk to many different restaurants. Canal tour stops practically across the street from the main entrance. They have apples by the main desk for an afternoon pick me up. Breakfast buffet was worth the extra expense...the croissants were incredible. Cheeses changed every day.

Brilliant hotel for weekend break
Hotel was perfect for our trip. Well situated, comfortable and quiet. Service on the desk was friendly but slow. A bar would have been a good addition.

Perfect Location & Excellent Service
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Leonardo Boutique Museumhotel. The staff was knowledgable and helpful. Because the staircase to my room was steep, one of the gentlemen at the front desk went up immediately to help bring down my suitcases. My room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel location was perfect!

The location is great but the room was not cleaned when they gave it to us. The cover was dirty and had lipstick smears on the cover. The pillowcases has peoples hairs on them still. They do not clean the rooms daily. No shampoo, conditioner, or body wash provided. Only hand soap was provided. I took pictures of the cover and they did send someone up with me so I could show them and they switched them after I showed them. They admitted they didn’t check the room thoroughly. The hotel is in a great location but not worth what they charge. Across the street there is construction and we got woken up daily at 7am by the construction workers. Very noisy and no view available because we had to keep curtains closed due to workers across the street. We had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. Overpriced and extremely small rooms.

Location, location, location! The hotel is perfect for getting to the museums! Less stressful to be able to stroll to any of the major museums in minutes!
