"Desolate area. Cabin was perfect size and cozy. Everything we needed was there. Cabin owners responded to questions and concern’s in a timely fashion. Had our two nine year old boys that couldn’t play on their tablets or video game consoles. I’ll just say if you have young kids with you “bring board games, bikes, scooters etc”.Overall we had a great time!"

"It was a bit hard to find the driveway initially. The driveway was pretty tight and we couldn't bring the boat all the way to the cabin, but we made due and left it off to the side of the driveway. The cabin is a nice, quiet retreat for those looking to get away. We enjoyed the firepit and the walk down the trail."

With only one bedroom on the first floor, and one adult who couldn’t use stairs, she had to have the one bedroom with a king bed. That left one couple for the second bedroom with a king bed. "Aug 22-25, 2024. Very lovely cabin, immaculate, fresh beddings. Excellent Wi-Fi. We truly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the overall property. Very quiet area. Lots of wildlife. "Great cabin - clean, comfy beds and very quiet! Only complaint was the house water had an awful sulphur smell and we couldn’t drink it. Even taking showers & brushing teeth was unpleasant. Would suggest getting a whole house water filter and then the property would be 5 star!"

"Our stay was wonderful. Our whole family enjoyed the beautiful home and the quiet lake where we were able to fish, canoe and enjoy the water. It was extremely close to the town and we were able to spend time out at dinner, Water Safari, and the shops. The only thing I would say would be difficult to find house as it’s hidden and the driveway was a bit tricky but other than that, our entire family enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back!"

"Cute little place. Easy check-in and good communication with the host. We were not aware that there would be no towels, so bring your own if you stay here. The front door is weird and three of us pinched our fingers in the door. Also, the water smells a little funny. We had no cell phone service here, but the WiFi worked great."

"We had a fantastic time at this property. Very comfortable setting, everything you need is right there. We stayed out by the fire pit deep into the night and were lucky enough to hear a great-horned owl in the distance. Really nice spot, super nice people, Especially Emily, very talented and charming host. We will be back!!"

"Lovely stay at Henckley Reservoir. Emily & Kim(s) gave nice attention to detail like the waters and snacks available for excursions. We rented a pontoon boat and Andre was a great captain showing us around the lake first. Loved having a clean private beach to ourselves and the paddleboards and kayaks were easy to use. The view afternoon and evening was lovely including the loons. Thank you so much! Cabin was very comfortable and clean and up to date."
