"At first I was not happy with the etra $57 dollars I got charged for using a credit card to pay for my stay . The first room I git was not the greatest. It was noisy and the tv set only had 4 antena chanels. A couple of days later I got moved to a different room which was more quiet and at least connected to the internet. "The buffet is extremely low quality food and served in unsanitary conditions. I ate in there one time only. I go and get some hard boiled eggs and cheese and take it to my room. I am surprised that the hotel managers choose such a dismal level unsanitary buffet setup. "

"Cheap ($19) and close to the airport! The owner is very friendly and helpful! She cooked up a great breakfast of eggs, rolls, and coffee/tea. The neighborhood is older and rundown. However, the residents are just normal people---women sweeping the sidewalk in the morning, children walking to school, lady selling food at a stand, taxi driver polishing his car, etc. I felt it was a good introduction to the Peruvian culture and am happy we stayed there!"

"We were booked into this hotel by Orbitz as part of a flight reservation, a hotel for a few hour stop prior to a 3:40 AM flight out of Lima Peru. The hotel had no record of our Orbitz reservation, and so would have charged us their full rate, rather than the highly discounted rate promised by Orbitz as part of the flight package. "20 minutes walk from the airport. Perfect location. It looks weird from the outside but this is generally undertaken intentionally, especially in South America to deter locals and keep the premises safe. It was clean, and complimentary morning coffee and tea was available. There were multiple sports-gaming tables and a nice rooftop chill spot. All in all, great value for money. "Host was very very friendly. She went out of the way to come with me at mid night to get dinner for our family. Also my family member was unwell. She accompanied me to the doctor and ensured we get proper care. She also provided good breakfast. Very safe and friendly place. Room may not be up to the standards but other conveniences in new country provided by host out weighs it. "
