"This was our second day at Alder cottage, and we came back for a reason! It’s away from everything, beautiful views, we love to hear the sea lions barking, and the waves crashing. It’s a great homebase, and we went up to Oregon and then also around Redwood Park and so many beaches! On this trip we went to Gold Bluffs beach and were nearly the only people there. A perfect get-away. Customer service is also immediately available and responsive. We did not use the hot tub, but appreciate the fantastic and well appointed kitchen. (My hubby is a great cook!) "

"Amazing experience right outside of the Redwood Forrest park. You literally get to sleep surrounded by Redwoods! The town of Trinidad was beautiful less than a mile away and full of little restaurants and shops. The sunset on the coast was a must see and something we will never forget "
