Convenient access to the hotel, and is close to many breakfast places!! Also, don quijote store is just 5 minutes away walking distance! Service was great and really enjoyed the stay!!

Very quiet place
This place is VERY QUIET I could sleep even with construction next door. Amazing! It looks recently renovated. It's a bit away from everything. For me that is a plus. It makes it more quiet. It's a short walk to ueno station. The sleep was amazing. My only complaint: the bathroom had a slight sewage smell. It did not leave the bathroom, so it was OK to sleep. Additionally, the room is very small. You WILL hear your partner in the bathroom.

ただいま! That was our greeting to the staff when we arrived. It really did feel like coming back home from a long trip. Cotoha has the prefect blend of modern amenities with a traditional Japanese heart. We've stayed in business hotels before, which I can't complain about, but this is something else entirely. Halfway between a hotel and ryokan, it's one of our favorite places to stay at in Tokyo. Off the beaten path in the Okachimachi area just south of Ueno, it's a 15-minute walk from the station, nestled away in a quiet neighborhood and around the corner from Okachimachi Park. Plenty of conbinis nearby for convenience, while minutes from the excitement of Akiba, Ueno, and Ameya-Yokochō. Our second visit and a wonderful experience.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Rock hard and no cushion. Booked a Queen size bed and got two full size beds pushed together. The facility was clean and staff were very nice. The bath on the roof was amazing!

Quiet little gem in Asakusa
We stayed in the Deluxe room on the 1st floor. The service, room, basically everything exceeded our expectations. This hotel is on a quiet street and close to two train stations (JR and Tokyo Metro?). There is a 7-11 2 min away. Walking from either train station to the hotel, there are plenty of shopping options (general, grocery, drug stores) and food places. There were complimentary toiletry kits and disposable slippers at the front desk. In our particular room, we had a coffee maker, mini fridge, small microwave, water boiler, yukatas/house slippers, 2 TVs, 2 beds, and a hair dryer. We also had a large soaking tub. There is also an open-air rooftop soaking tub that you can reserve in the evening for 1000 yen/45 min. It was really nice to relax and soak at the end of the day and decompress and take in the view of Tokyo Tower. We recommend you reserve early to get the times that you want. The hotel was a 15-20 min walk from Akihabara (which we visited multiple times bc it was so close) and ~30 min walk to Senso-ji. I think we were pretty close to Ueno Park too. We absolutely would stay here again.

Rooms are very small, but everything is beautifully designed and very clean, so I didn’t mind. The lighting in the rooms are nicely done. Friendly staff and free coffee/tea provided. You can book a private outdoor bath for 1000 Yen, make sure to book early to get the time you want.

Conveniently located. Relatively new hotel with dramatic design flair. Our room was a bit on the small side, but good value. The bathroom had an "araiba" - meaning that we good enjoy a genuine ofuro experience (wash outside the tub, etc. . .)Good breakfast and friendly desk personnel.

Great location with 4 nearby train stations (different lines). Staff were friendly but could be improved further. Small twin room was indeed very tiny; suggest to fix a sturdy luggage rack on the wall as there's no room to store the bags at all. We dealt with our luggage on the beds, took out what we needed, closed the bags and left them standing. Shower was strong and good toiletries. Separate toilet was good. The bed was comfortable. AC was quiet and worked well. There's a mini fan too. Switches on the bed panel, so were charging ports. Good hairdryer. Pocket WiFi available for rent at reasonable cost. Breakfast set at ¥650, order before 11pm for the next morning. Value for money, as everything is expensive in Tokyo. Free coffee and tea at the reception area, at certain hours. Free WiFi was strong. Hot tub at the open air rooftop, ¥500 for 45 mins, private, comes with ensuite shower and toilet, towels and bottled water provided (2), max 2 persons in the tub but more people can join u at the area, seats available. Daily housekeeping if you want. Highly recommended to have dinner at a nearby sushi restaurant (210m) Matsuyama Sushi. Many shops around the corner such as Family Marts, etc.

Great little hotel
e Corona Hotel is in a great location, with plenty of shops and restaurants less than a 10 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. They offer western and Japanese breakfasts. Both were delicious, with excellent coffee, and reasonably priced. Our twin room was small but it had everything we needed. It was also spotlessly clean. The private rooftop onsen was great!

Amazing staff. Our room was tiny but cute. Just not ideal for my 6 foot 3 husband. I didn’t have any problems with it. This wasn’t their fault: I picked the room after all!

A short walk from the train station, this hotel has character. Probably the smallest hotel rooms but is charming. A bit like playing Tetris with our luggage is great for value and convenience. Lovely hotel with helpful staff.

Lovely, clean and modern hotel and room. However it was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was nowhere to put your bag. Had to put them on the bed and then do them up and stand them in front of the toilet to sleep in our bed. Then shuffle them around in the middle of the night to go to the toilet. Not very well thought out.

Overall, the hotel is clean and very comfortable. But the regulation of requesting the residents to leave the key at the reception when going out is odd. It is dangerous as the staff give me the key directly without any verification when we get back the key, simply telling the room number. I believe the staff cannot recognise me as the staff are different from those when I check in.

Great traditional Japanese hotel stay. Love the baths on rooftop & in rooms. We traveled with a carryon suitcase & backpack per person and space was enough. Serica the evening front desk person was quite helpful. Breakfast was good as well

Love it here!
Check in was fast and easy. Room was nice and clean! Room have microwave & small refrigerator. Japanese style shower & soaking bathtub was deep & big. Wifi was fast!. Plenty of restaurants close by. There's 7-11 store close by as well. 8 minutes from Jr line/train station. Safe and clean neighborhood. We walked around at night and we feel safe. Friendly English speaking staff. If in the area again, would stay at this location.
