Suitable for solo travellers
Hotel is very conveniently located near to Taipei station (5-10 mins walk), and has shopping and food options within 5 mins walking distance. Suitable for travellers who are using Taipei as a base and taking train day trips. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, allowing early check-in and offering Uber Eats coupons for guests. Hotel and room furnishings are not old, which is common among hotels in the city area. Room is small so its suitable for solo travellers but will be cramped for 2 pax in the room. Enjoyed my stay at Orange Hotel and will return again the next time for solo trips in Taiwan

Good and central location. However, do not like the room facilities. The aircon in room cannot be adjusted to warmer temperature. There is no heater facilities as well so room is quite cold during winter period.

If the room is too cold, it is recommended that you turn off the power. We can also provide you with blankets or quilts. Location excellent. Staff are helpful. Check in area has fridge with free drinks and fruit. There is also coffee machine and microwave for communal use. Take note that with the room layout, the toilet and shower are not separate rooms, but rather a compartmentalised section of the main room. This means if you do a poo, it will smell in the entire room including sleeping area. There is suction and air conditioning.

The local is awesome!!!!! But the toilet and shower split in 2 areas, and the toilet area is way too small.

They provide free hot water and unlimited coffee and tea sachets at reception area. And there is in-house laundrymat. I was fortunate enough to be located at the same floor as the reception desk.

The location is great, very close to train station, bus stops, shopping mall and convenience stores, plus it’s considerably safe and quiet. The only thing is that it’s a bit challenging to place my change clothes in the shower stall.

Staff can go in ur room easily without permission.
I am staying room 906, my collegues stay room 904. He call reception to assist for the safety box issue, the staff come up to my room and unlock my door with the extra access card. I am still inside the room and he just open it without permission. Luckily i have lock the door from inside and he wasn't able to open it. After i inform him that he went to wrong room, same case happen to my colleague room. He didn't wait until the guest open the door after press the door bell and he just open it with the extra door card. This is extremely unacceptable.

Central location is a super big plus
We spent a week, fourth time we have returned to this hotel. It is small, the rooms are small ("snug"), but we do not go places to spend that much time in our hotel room. The location is excellent and we will return again, and again.

Very convenient and good value
A very convenient location very close to Taipei Main Station. Overall good value for money and friendly service. The bed was very comfortable, with a good quality mattress - not too hard, not too soft. The en-suite bathroom was clean and modern. There is some traffic noise in this busy area, but it's not too bad since the rooms are on the 5th - 10th floors. Breakfast vouchers can be used at three nearby places - I liked the selection available at Cafe Bene. There is a coin-operated washing machine and dryer at the hotel, which is handy.

Nice stay. A 5 mins walk from Taipei Main Station. It's behind Shin King Departmental Store. Weather was 36c in Aug and it was really nice being inside. Aircon is strong. They give you coupons to eat breakfast at the Yoshinoya restaurant across the street.

Highly Recommend
The location of this place is super - close to the main Taipei Station and major commercial areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is on the small side but the layout makes very good use of the space and it's very clean. The guests are given breakfast vouchers to dine at one of the three nearby restaurants. There is an onsite laundry room if needed. Overall it's a very nice place to stay in Taipei.

Our stay here was ok. Their washer and dryer were not well maintained. We used the washer and the clothes came out super wet. We had to manually twist the clothes, and the dryer didnt work but there werent any signs to indicate that. When we mentioned it to the hotel staff, they werent helpful in resolving the issue. They just told us the dryer is out of service, but when we asked them what are we going to do with our wet clothes? They were unresponsive. Their customer service was poor as we had to ask them to help us look for another hotel so we could use their dryer. The whole experience was frustrating as it took over 5 hours to wash and dry our laundry.

Just a little disappointed that they won't let you check in early (I know the policy check in at 3pm) but most of hotel will let you check in early and special that day I was wet due to rain I was hope they will so I can change
