Hotel less than 5 mins walkable distance from the mrt station. Just opposite the famous Ximending shopping district. Hotel is clean, the lobby staff are helpful and polite. No complaints from me!

The location of this hotel was very go right in Ximending very convenience but the rooms cannot block the sound good we can able to hear people upstair walking around and next door talking all night long.

First time in Taipei and Ximen area. The hotel is located in a building with multiple businesses and the entry can be hard to find but easy to find once you get there one time. The location is in a very busy area with lots of food and shopping nearby. Room size was decent and the AC was excellent. Bathroom was large but my shower leaked on the floor - seemed like the drain would not drain quickly enough. Bed and bedding are pretty comfortable. I was here for 6 nights and I wish there was more storage for clothing outside of drawer next to the bed. I asked for more hangers and the staff was able to give me more hangers at the front desk. The elevators can be tricky (one broke down briefly) and you have to share with other businesses in the building. My biggest issue is that I came back to my room with a friend of mine that lived with the city around 3:30PM on my last night and once we got into the room, I got a call from the front desk saying that they saw me come in with a guest and if he stays the night he would need to register at the desk. This just weirded me out because the lobby is on the 6th floor and my room is on the 5th. So not sure if they were watching me on a security camera or what....I don't have an issue registering a guest if they will stay the night but it was disturbing to be tracked by the hotel. The only other issue is that there is a lack of sound proofing in the hallways so you can hear people talking as they walk by.

Stayed for 1 night was perfect size for 3 people. Bathroom was good size and didn’t feel crammed in the bedroom part

It was just a room, although it was small the bed was comfortable. Convenient place for those wanting tio experience Ximendine.

A bit small but the hotel was clean and comfortable. Located right in the heart of Ximending. The hotel also has a bar located on the 6th floor next to the lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly. If you can’t find the hotel for whatever reason, it is located right next to the TGIF Restaurant. The hotel is easily walkable from Ximen Station , Exit 6. I’ll consider staying here again.

The property is literally in the heart of ximen mrt station and the night market is just around the corner. It’s really clean and the staff are all courteous and very professional. Would highly recommend staying there. Thanks Swiio Hotel staffs, you made our stay more enjoyable.

I love Swiio Hotel Ximending! it is smacked right in the middle of Xinmending District, above the shop houses. Has a unique concept and the service staff Elin is superb with her patience and service!

Great location and helpful staff! However, cleanliness could be improved (moldy soap dispenser in the shower); the dripping shower head mounted on ceiling couldn’t be repaired during my stay (4 nights); and poor noise isolation (I could hear the TV and feel the phone vibration from the next room at night)!

decent hotel
Good location, good service, staffs helpful, good wifi etc. The hotel does provide simple continental breakfast. Lots of customers complained about not enough choices. The things is people expecting a full cooked up breakfast. I'll come back to this place if I return to Taipei again.

The location was superb as it is located exactly in Ximending happening area and yet it's not noisy at all. I stayed for 5 nights and was very satisfied with my stay. Only 1 suggestion with the toilet, if it can be upgraded to an automated toilet bowl then will be perfect!

In the very heart of Ximending, reasily accessible and close to the Main train station in Taipei, from where you can get practically anywhere around Taipei by metro within 30 mins. Staff in the hotel, personally Philos and Jocelyn I met personally, were very nice, helpful and provided all services and information needed for enjoyable stay, really highly recommended.

Room was clean and simple. However, staff seemed slightly unfriendly.as though they would want you to get done and over with, do not seem genuine in helping. We wanted to ask if they have any car rental service to Shifen or Jiufen, but got the answer that they can check, but it would not be that far or difficult to go on our own via public transport.
