As a tourist moving about Rome, I will say that once you get within a block of the hotel, you realize that you’ve found a hidden gem. Great security protocols. The hotel is near five restaurants less which are than 150 feet away. The rooftop bar is a real treat. The train station is around the corner though I wouldn’t recommend taking that short walk with a suitcase. The taxi is $10 and well worth someone dropping you off at the station. The breakfast buffet is a real delight. The amenities at IQ Hotel are amazing. Daily snacks and beverages in your mini fridge, a small gym, laundry facilities, and a welcome reception upon arrival. There’s also a sauna you can schedule and a phenomenal cooking class you can take, which we did. We barely speak Italian and that was no issue at all. All of the staff members we encountered during our three day stay spoke English and were attentive to ensuring we had the best stay possible. As two BIPOC women, we felt safe in this hotel and ran into many polite guests from all over the globe.
