The location is good and convenient because we don't drive. But set up of the double bed is not good. There's a pillar beside the bed which prevented for two of us to sleep properly on the bed. We have to climb to the bed.

The property has all indicated amenities, in a previous review I indicated that the room was to cold, however after following up with a staff member, it was drawn to my attention that the room had a portable heater and she visited my room to set up same. The bed was very comfortable.

Visiting Queenstown is already expensive as it is. So being able to find a place for me and my friends that is a little more affordable was great. We got the family room, so we had our own bathroom and it is so conveniently close to everything Queenstown has to offer.

We stayed in a double en-suite and couldn’t have been happier. Yes, the rooms are small but there’s space under the bed for your bags and we paid a fraction of the cost compared to other properties in the area. The location is outstanding, the bathroom was clean and had a great shower - there was even shampoo and body wash provided! Bed comfy but the highlight was the incredible view of the lake from our room. Would recommend Lylo to anyone!

Centrally locate in Downtown Queenstown there was no shortage of places to eat, drink, shop, or head out to the mountains from. Highly recommend staying. Rooms felt a little "hostel" style and that was kind of the vibe of the whole place but that was fine, we only stayed for one night. Longer wouldn't have been a problem either though.

Close to the “downtown” core making it very convenient to walk everywhere. Room very clean. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again.

Room and property is right in the centre so perfect for walking. Staff friendly but strick on the 3pm checkin, did let us leave bag though. Room was fine but small and had no windows but we knew this, which is great for sleeping as no
Natural light but found it made me oversleep, no control on temperature though as centrally controlled. Would stay again as it was fine for a night. Definitely aimed at foreign backpackers and tourists but fine for a night

Tiny room, service was sub par, no thermostat in each room so they have the rooms on fan/circulation mode for the whole floor which I believe is a health and safety issue as my partner and I both got Covid. And after a few days of sharing air on the floor all the rooms around us were coughing and sneezing as you could hear through the thin walls. I don’t recommend this place to anyone

Excellent location from bus stop and near shops. Room is small but clean. Stayed in two different rooms in two trips. The only complaint is that the TV is bad in both rooms, and the hotel should provide a couple of stool in the room for sitting. The kitchenette is very useful.

Location good, staff friendly, room felt like a prison cell without the bars, or a store room with a toilet in it. I wouldn’t choose this again.

We were supposed to stay at Lylo which was a 2 minute walk from the city. Instead we had to trek 15 minutes from the city with all of our baggage. 2 hours before check in we were told we were being switched to a different property. We arrived at 5:45…. 2.45 hours past check in time and a room was not ready. The staff seemed clueless and it was a mess.

Great location, small rooms but nice common areas
Location was excellent to explore queenstown. We had a ensuite queen room and it was very small, but the bed was comfortable and the common spaces are quite nice (especially the roof deck), so it's easy to avoid spending much time in your room. There is reasonably-priced public parking nearby too.

Great location at a walking distance to all restaurants and stores. the room was a bit small and tight to move around, especially with open luggage, but the bathroom was very clean and spacious. the room was also clean and good for the price we paid.

The set up of pods in the hostel are ideal for privacy and being able to get a complete nights rest. Storage locker in the rooms were a great size. Very nice having a rooftop lounge.

The room was small but clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen facilities were busy and messy, but were cleaned up in the morning. Reception is just a person sitting at a computer. There were lots of people milling about including a vagrant causing a disturbance, made us a little concerned about the street parking.

We do work with a self-check-in and checkout system, the staff at reception will assist whenever the guest needs. Regarding to the vagrant guy we managed to let him out safely. We do understand your concerns and we work toward to make the guest's experiences incredible.
Fire alarm in the middle of the night, cold showers in the morning, no cups in the room, no space for luggage. Kitchen was packed, restaurant top roof bar permanently closed:(
