Good hotel but with all extra charges
Very nice hotels. BUT tries to monetize on everything that is included free on hotels of this type. For example, you have to pay additional to use the street bikes, to charge EV car, to even get a cappuccino in breakfast buffet...

Good Business Hotel
Very nice hotel, I don't think all the facilities were open so I can't rate the gym or sauna which is a shame. Breakfast is nice, layout of tables makes it difficult if you have more than four people in your party.

Great stay overall. Inside is modern and clean. From a Finnish point of view I could not decide whether the Sami and Lapland decor was interesting or kitschy. Propably a bit of both although it’s of course something you can expect from a Lapland themed hotel. If you are here on the weekend, with a car and only staying a couple of nights I suggest trying roadside parking instead of paying for a private parking as public roadside parking is free on nights and Sundays.

This is a nice Lapland theme hotel in the center of Oulu. It’s a short walking distance to the city shops and restaurants. Also a big park and a ocean shoreline are very close to go enjoy some time in nature too.

Very relaxing stay in a unique hotel
Staying at this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. After manoeuvring into the very tight parking garage (still recommended to use, a parking in Oulu is in general tricky), we were surprised by our room. Clever play with light and mirrors made the room much bigger. Also the use of wood gave it a very cosy welcoming appearance. The bed and pillows very excellent. Everything was spotless clean. The pool and sauna area were very nice, though in these COVID-19 times, we would have preferred some kind of people limitation scheme to ensure social distancing. It was getting a bit crowded around 20:00. The hotels own restaurant serves several reindeer dishes, which I would strongly recommend. We will definitely check out other branches of Lapland Hotels.

Very good hotel, if not quite superb
Not sure I would rate it as "superb" as shown at the minute, but it is a very good hotel at a reasonable price. Room was comfortable and the bathroom excellent, although fittings are not as good quality as they seemed when you take a close look. Good WiFi and good breakfast. Food in the restaurant is good too. Convenient for the town center.

A Classy Place to Stay
The location, across the street from the Oulu Cathedral, is ideal for visits. The breakfast buffet was attentive to dietary needs. The parking was a block away. The car was safe, but not the easiest to get to. The bathtub and shower are beautiful, and the bathroom has plenty of space to store incidentals. The room has a balcony that overlooks the inside courtyard.

No aircon
Decent stay, but some hiccups and not really worth the high rate. There is no aircon so the room temp was up to 27 degrees. Parking is a bit of a nightmare if you have a large car and fee is not included in the roomrate. Good breakfast.

Tiny room with very poor heating control. Reception informed me the temperature would increase after I’d attempted to raise the level but room remained cold the entire night. Table in the room was also very poorly fixed, super wonky! Surprised it didn’t fall over.

Nice room, quite large size for Finnish standards. Friendly staff. Good wi-fi connection. Room looked overall clean, but the coffee cups the first night were dirty. Breakfast is ok, lots of local food selection but lacking sweets options. The Oula restaurant has nice food options but portions are small in size.

They are centrally located near City Center and the facilities are very clean and well equipped, it has small shared kitchen but need some more dishes to share the food after cooking. Overall, I loved staying at Forenom Apartel at Oulu would recommend this place who are visiting Oulu.
