The entire staff was wonderful. They were kind and responsive to our concerns. Our room was very nice with a beautiful view. We really enjoyed the warm cookies; and the clean coffee maker in the room. The only issue was the malfunctioning jacuzzi by the pool. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The entrance area should be more clean and the trash container should be more clean and the area in between tilesin the hotel room need more clean,you can see the light orange stains or buildup.

Great staff, front desk lady was great. Older property, elevator always take forever, being in a suite without breakfast included is very bad. Having to rent a umbrella very bad, we have five in our party the suite only came with 2 beach chairs. The pool and hot tub was dirty all weekend.

From check in to check out (still not processed ) absolutely horrible . We checked in via the Hilton app and had a digital key . Went to the front desk to ask how the other people in my party could use the key and was told they didn’t have digital keys because they were being renovated . I explained that I checked in already and had already used my digital key . I had to show them for them to believe me . They were able to issue us some keys as they had no idea their hotel even had digital keys . During our stay we never got the room service order we ordered and are still waiting for a refund . Requested a receipt and they said it would be included in the checkout receipt . We asked for late checkout and was informed that hotel didn’t do that even though it’s on their website . Upon checking out we asked for the receipt and was told it would be emailed . Still no email .. what was suppose to be a relaxing Mother’s Day weekend was a disaster . Besides those interactions , the pool was full of bugs until 10am-11am when someone woken come out to clean the pool with guest already in here . When we asked gorni it complimentary beach chairs we were told it would be $40 per chair although sign says $24 and the guys said we can Venmo them $20 . Had to show them we get 2 complimentary chairs and that’s when we were given out chairs

Ocean views are amazing. Beautiful beach. Our room was the problem. It smelled like sewage. Was so outdated and the bathroom was gross. Dirty old tile floors. Bathroom sink water barely worked. Air conditioning was so old and extremely loud.

We recently stayed at the Doubletree hotel and had an extremely disappointing experience. Firstly, the pool was freezing cold due to a broken heater which had been out of order for the past three weeks. Not only did they fail to fix it in a timely manner, but they also neglected to inform us of this issue beforehand. Our kids were unable to enjoy the pool during our stay. To make matters worse, the outside jacuzzi was extremely dirty and needed serious cleaning. It was evident that the hotel did not prioritize cleanliness or maintenance. The service at the hotel was terrible. The staff members were unfriendly and unhelpful. It was clear that they did not care about providing a pleasant experience for their guests. The hotel itself was old and falling apart, in dire need of renovations and updates. Despite our numerous complaints, the management offered to refund only half of our stay. Even with this refund, it was not worth the money we spent on our stay. As a loyal customer who has frequently visited this hotel with my family and friends every few months, I am incredibly disappointed and do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the headache and find a different place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel 15 years ago and it was nice then. The place is now run down and in need of repairs. They have two hot tubs and neither one was hot. The area around the exterior is deteriorating. The room itself needed repairs: our shower door didn’t close causing all the water to spill out into the exterior of the shower. The door was dangling really. The sinks had a very poor water flow. It’s was tough to brush your teeth bc there wasn’t enough water flow. The doors had a lot of wear and the elevator has seen better days. The employees at the front desk were not wearing a uniform giving the whole experience one that is less than desirable. They weren’t very welcome either. The nightly charge was $350 per night plus the resort fee. Honestly I didn’t feel like it was worth it at all. We will not be staying there anytime soon.

This place is absolutely outdated, there was mold all over the shower, the carpet was disgusting, valet parking so expensive at $40 a day, the pool was dirty, We all got covid in this place. Won't be staying here again!

Family friendly location, walkable to restaurants and grocery. Clean and overall very good experience. Negatives include a very slow elevator (5-10 minutes) at times. Also, on check-out day Expedia had the reservation as a noon check-out. Resort staff member said that was not correct and check-out was at 11am. They were not willing to extend the time sending us scrambling to gather up and get out. Aside from these two issues, nice resort, friendly staff and positive experience.

I love this hotel. It’s such a perfect location especially with kids. Near the best Marshall’s. the beach there is clean and perfect for kids, very safe. Customer service was great especially when we had issues wi the the smell in the washroom.

Our bathroom was not updated and we saw 2 cockroaches in washroom we reported it but never got confirmation if anything was being done. Wall paper was falling off bathroom wall. Twice during our stay our room wasn’t cleaned. When we reported it, they didn’t change bed sheets but put them on our bed for us to change. Also we were expecting a spa as double tree hôtes and spa implies. The day that it rained we went to spa to find out it had been closed since Covid. That was very misleading with hotel name and all. Staff was friendly and courteous. Wth all choices available we would be hard pressed to stay here again or recommend to others. Hopefully these comments won’t be in vain.

Great location on the beach. Beach was very nice. Cabana and umbrella rentals available - pricey but convenient. Great view of ocean. Rooms are ok - old and need refurbishment. Needs cosmetic upgrade. Carpet not clean - child’s feet were dirty after walking around room. Staff was responsive when we needed additional items.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights for a family vacation. We were in the 2 bedroom unit which was spacious and convenient for a family of 4 (two little ones under the age of five), however you should know the hotel and the rooms are outdated and worn out (scratches on the walls, chipped paint, faucet falling down, etc). The hotel is right on the beach which is great and it offers towels and two chairs (you will need to pay $20/day if you want to rent an umbrella). The area is quite noisy with a lot of car traffic so not the most pleasant area to walk around (no access to boardwalks), but you can easily access to stores, restaurants and grocery store. You will also need to request for housekeeping if you want fresh towels. Overall not a bad choice if you set the right expectations and you are familiar with Sunny Isles.

This property needs the rooms the rest of the way updated—our white faux marble tile floor and bathroom cabinets looked new but the beds were worn with holes in the sides of the box springs and very old mattresses. If your reservation says breakfast included you have to stand your ground and demand they honor it otherwise they tell you they discontinued it. Had to return to lobby 4 separate times to get cards magnetized—front desk staff seemed unapologetic and unhappy to be there—not a 4 star property at all. Pool is super small and 4 feet deep just a kids pool—beach is great and attached to the property—big waves while we were there.

My oceanfront suite was perfect. I was made to feel not welcome by Hilton because I had rented through Expedia. My room was not ready by 4:00 pm as promised. I was told I would not get Hilton credits for the stay because I had rented via Expedia. The room was fabulous! $4,000 for the week for a sublime direct oceanfront suite for that area is unbelievable. Two years ago I stayed at a non oceanfront suite at the nearby Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour for $14,000 for the week. The beach was fabulous!! I am grateful to Expedia for giving me and my family a great oceanfront suite for our vacation. I wish Hiltonnhad given us a friendlier welcome.

We did the 2 bed room suite with ocean view. The view was phenomenal from all rooms in the suite. The beds were comfortable and lots of storage space. Docked stars for cleanliness as there were beatle bugs living in the dish washer. Saw 3 of them when opening it one time. The outside area was great. Very friendly staff to help with towels and beach chairs. One hot tub wasn’t warm but not a huge inconvience as the other hot tub wasn’t busy. Pool was kept clean and quite warm on those somewhat chilly mornings. Parking crew were quick and friendly. Overall a good experience and I would recommend this resort.
