Our African Charm apartments are designed to give you a unique experience of living in Maputo, provided by a charming sense of local stay.

The Space:
Our African charm apartments are composed by unique local pieces of furniture, providing to our guest a unique sense of local stay. Our Sommershield II apartment is composed by three bedrooms, which one is a suite, a living and dinning area and balcony. There is also a common bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.

The apartment is located at Sommershield neighborhood, on a very calm, safe, a walkable area, perfect for your daily basis needs. Turned to very open city view on a high floor, every morning the space is flooded with African sunrise.

In the living area, you encounter three different spaces. A pure living area, with three (double and single) Malawi chairs. Next to it, the dinning area, with a dinning table made from local railway wooden sleepers. Last, next to the entrance hall, the TV area, composed by a TV of 42'' and a sofa with chase long.

Outside, at the balcony, there is a bench to enjoy the very common natural breeze in the apartment.

On the other side of the apartment, turned to the sunset, there is a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen comes with all appliances, toaster, fridge, stove, oven, microwave, blender and coffee machine. There is also a full set of pots and pans, all on 6 units.

At the end of the corridor, there is a common bathroom, equipped with a shower. Next to it, you will find the bedrooms. All are composed with queen size bed, white linen, four sleeping pillows and a big wooden mirror. The master bedroom has also an ensuite bathroom with a walking shower.

The Neighborhood:
Sommershield - One of the most popular neighborhoods in Maputo, where you will find most of the NGO's and embassies office. Naturally very safe, during the day and night, allowing you for relaxed walks around.
