Beautiful property only minutes from downtown Mancos. This was a perfect place for our family trip ( 3 adults). We really enjoyed the ability to bring our two dogs along. The house was warm and comfortable. The hosts were excellent. The only drawback is the noise from the highway… but this was still so quiet compared the the city.

This cabin/home was very cozy and just what we needed to unplug from the day-to-day grind.From the island/pond to the walking trail around the property it is nice to just step outside and be. In the stillness of nature.The location is great in that it's close to Mesa Verde and a few other attractions.If I were to go back to SW Colorado, I would consider staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I only wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the pond, fire pit and the sweet critters! I hope we can come back again and stay. We played hard, did the Toltec/Cumbres Train (a very long day driving there) a lazy day and then the Durango Silverton Train. Both were wonderful!

This two bedroom house served our purposes well. We found it as advertised. Four adults stayed in the house, and though there was not a lot of extra room, the porch and outdoor space were a bonus. We recommend it for consideration.

We loved this house. The house was perfect for outdoor living. It was well equipped. The property was fabulous with a cool fire-pit, a pond with an island that could be access with a bridge and several acres of grass and trees. We will be back

Beautiful property! Nice place to relax. Quick trip to Mancos for groceries. The property was very clean. Beds very comfy! Only negative was traffic noise during the day, but it was quiet in the evening.

This property is located centrally to several attractions between Durango and Cortez. It is clean, comfortable and sits in a park-like setting complete with a small creek, a pond, and a hammock. The porch is wonderful for hanging out and just chillin'. Very close to the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. We stayed four nights and would stay here again if ever in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here and sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Yes, there is quite a bit of road noise as the property is adjacent to the main road, but we were okay with it. We just used a white noise app on our phone at night because it was warm and we needed to open the windows. It was a great base for us to visit Mesa Verde NP and Durango.

We were looking for a place in a centrally located area between Durango, Mesa Verde and Telluride. This place was just perfect. There is a bit of highway noise but not enough to be bothersome. The property is beautiful so we spent most of our time on the porch. Beds are comfy and kitchen was well equipped. We would certainly stay again.

Cozy cottage. Wonderful for bird watchers and small property to take a walk. Only drawback is road noise and can be a little warm without air conditioning. Kitchen well stocked, beds are comfortable and very clean. Owner allowed me to use laundry facilities in main house, which I greatly appreciated.

This was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Colorado. It was a pleasure staying on this property just outside of Durango. The property is amazing! A creek is just a few feet from the house to relax, reflect and unwind. Also on the property is a pond and beautiful trees that the owner welcomes you to walk around and enjoy. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay this cozy house is it!

We came to southwest Colorado to ride the train in Durango and explore Mesa Verde National Park. This property put us in the middle. It's a great location, was super clean and provided everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable!! Our 2 teenage boys enjoyed the paddle boards and peddleboat, and our entire family enjoyed the big yard. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for a great experience.

We absolutely loved this property! The front porch view and surrounding grounds are lovely. The house was immaculate, kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy. Internet was spotty at times but that isn't anything that can be controlled. The host was very helpful and answered any questions we had immediately. I would highly recommend.

I was looking for a place for my family to stay as we enjoyed the southwest part of Colorado. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Peaceful Mancos Hideaway.” The property owners were responsive to all or our questions. Our two boys enjoyed petting the horse, paddle boarding in the mini-lake, running around the vast open area, chilling out in the hammocks, and just being kids. My wife and I also enjoyed our time as we really could just relax!!! One of the best parts of the home was how centrally located it was to all of our activities – four corners, Mesa Verde, Canyon of the Ancients, Durango, etc.…. If you go, DO spend some time in the town of Mancos. There are good eats and very friendly people. If you are looking for a place to stay that is not a hotel and not around people and you like a peaceful place to put your feet up after a day of play, this is the spot.
