We came to the bunkhouse for my friends hen party, and it was perfect for what we wanted. The house is great with large communal spaces for everyone to gather around, and is a beautiful location. Pictures are absolutely accurate. The hosts were all super friendly and helpful, staying in regular communication and answering any questions we had, as well as organising an epic kayaking trip for us. The house was well kept and the hosts made the check in process really easy and stress free! The only slight inconvenience was the shower/toilet situation, a couple of the toilets didn’t lock properly, and the showers struggled with water pressure with more than 1 or 2 showering at a time which was a bit of a struggle with 16 girls! But otherwise absolutely fantastic

Amazing communication - so helpful with answering queries and providing and booking activities.
Accommodation was clean and spacious. We loved that we could all eat round one table.
Our was extremely helpful that Sian took in the online order before we arrived.
I recommend taking the directions of the bunkhouse from their main website as it can be a little tricky to find.
A great weekend for my sister's hen do!!!
Thank you

We all, especially my sister (the bride), had the most amazing weekend at the bunkhouse for her hen do, and the accommodation really made it. The communal areas made it so much easier for everyone to get to know each other and mingle. I really hope to return in the future and would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone.

The accommodation was perfect for our group of 18. It had everything we needed and Sian was very helpful throughout in dealing with my queries. We also did canoeing through the linked company and this was also enjoyed by the group. Rob was at also available to contact with any issues we had so we really appreciated that too. Thanks all for a lovely stay!

We were a group of 20 on a stag do for my brother. The bunkhouse was perfect accommodation for us with ample space and facilities to self cater (big kitchen and BBQ). Jacuzzi was fab, and the proximity to clay pigeon shooting and river canoeing was ideal. Thank you to Sian and the family for having us. We'll see you again I'm sure!

Had a great time here in this fantastic location booked for a stag weekend which could have been very interesting given the circumstances.
Storm Arwen blew through during our stay and if it wasn’t for Claire, Rob and Sian’s help, generosity and forward thinking, it would have been a very different weekend for us. It was very clear that they all want to ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Lovely weekend away with a big group. The pictures don’t do it justice! Our Claire host was brilliant, very welcoming and really quickly to reply to any messages we sent with queries and was very helpful and flexible with the additional activity we booked. The whole group had a great time - would highly recommend

We had a fantastic weekend. The owners are really communicative and helpful - they organise activities but unfortunately I didn't get the email so do contact them if you are unsure of what to do in the area. We had a stag party and took advantage of the gas bbq on the Friday night. We canoed on the Wye and visited Tintern and Chepstow. Perfect place for a large group.

We came here for a stag do for 20 people and had an amazing weekend. From the moment the trip was organised, the owner was very responsive with any questions I had and helped me organise the whole weekend with ease. The bunkhouse is located in a stunning location with great views of the valley, it has two good sized entertaining rooms and all of us had a really good time. The activities we did over the weekend of clay pigeon shooting and kayaking were really fun. I would definitely come back here again for another stag do or just on a short break with some friends. Could not recommend enough how helpful the owners were along the whole process and thank you for a fantastic weekend.

Had an amazing weekend at the bunkhouse, amazing location with everything you need and more! Claire the owner couldn't do enough for us and was always a phone call away if we needed her. We didn't take part in any activities this time ran by the hosts as we might of had a few to many drinks! However the setup looked amazing and when we visit again we will definitely be doing some of them. Thanks again for an amazing weekend and if anyone is thinking about visiting the bunkhouse go for it, I highly recommend the place.

A group of 15 friends stayed over a weekend. everyone enjoyed the trip the accomodation and facilties suited us perfectly. The dinning area was big enough for everyone to gather, the kitchen and BBQ were easily able to cater for a large group. We booked an activity with the hosts as well (Archery & Axe Throwing) which everyone enjoyed and was held at the accomodation so we did not need to travel.
The Hosts were very friendly and helpful during the booking stage with answering any questions. During the stay and once the trip was completed, quickly sending back the deposit.

We stayed here for a hen party over a couple of nights. The place is fairly basic (bunk rooms, shared shower rooms etc) but has everything you need for a short stay. The large dining area was good for a big group. The area is absolutely beautiful and if you walk around to the front of Claire's property there is a stunning view. Communication with the host was excellent.

One of the best views in the Wye Valley. The bunkhouse has an unenviable view down the Wye Valley, and the hosts (who live in the adjoining building) were helpful throughout with good communication. They are in the process of building a gamesroom extension to the house, which will increase the indoor areas, but the weather was amazing so we were able to chill outside with the view. We order a full English breakfast to be prepared by them which was great and they tidied up after. All the bunk bed were clean and tidy. The only slight issue was that the drain in one of the wet rooms was clogged and the kitchen tap stopped working for a few hours on the Sunday morning. They also have three friendly dogs who like to meet the guests, all good natured and looking for friends (and bacon). Would recommend, thanks Claire, Rob and Fiona

Myself and 19 friends stayed in Harthill Grange Bunkhouse for the weekend of my 21st birthday. It is a fantastic building, with everything we needed. The communal space was wonderful for socialising and we all slept very well in the bunkbeds. We had the catered BBQ and cooked breakfast, which was delicious and the caterer was absolutely great. Claire was extremely helpful before, during and after our stay and gave us directions for a beautiful walk to Tintern Abbey and up to Devil's Pulpit which we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had an incredible weekend in a beautiful location and the bunkhouse was absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much!

Our daughter had the most wonderful weekend celebrating her 21st birthday with friends from Uni. They had an amazing BBQ on the Friday evening, enjoyed a beautiful walk to Devil's Pulpit followed by a fun party with family joining in on the Saturday. Harthill Grange produced a fantastic cooked breakfast to complete the weekend on the Sunday morning. We are so grateful to Claire who was incredibly flexible when it looked as though they might get snowed in. Fortunately everyone made it safely home after the most perfect weekend. Many thanks - we would highly recommend the property.

We had an excellent time here over New Years. Plenty of activities and a great space. We ordered a Tesco delivery for the day we arrived which was a great idea. The owners were extremely helpful. The living area is pretty tight for 20 people but if you're spending most of your time outdoors it shouldn't matter too much! I would definitely recommend.

Although we sadly needed to cancel our stay due to family illness before the day, the team at Harthill were very understanding and friendly throughout. While booking they really went above and beyond to help as I knew little about the area and they were able to help me with taxi's for a large group, activities and local knowledge. I came to visit the property and it really is kept in great shape. I'm honestly hoping to come back here in the near future and enjoy the beautiful scenery and Harthill will be my first choice.
Also, great dogs.

Thank you for a lovely stay, everyone had a great time with some enjoying the active side of the holiday whilst others took the time out to relax in the beautiful surroundings. Rob was very helpful and always on hand to help with car parking, directions, essential baby equipment etc. Nothing was too much trouble. The chef cooked in house for us - tasty food and good value too. We chose to do rock climbing and abseiling and it was brilliant to have it all arranged for us - if you choose to drive yourselves take plenty of change for the car park. The actual climbing was pitched at just the right level, everyone was challenged and had fun too.
One thing we would have liked was blinds on the windows in the bedrooms and a bit of privacy in the showers - 2 open showers in each bathroom.
Overall a thoroughly enjoyable weekend in a great place that I would certainly recommend to others and I would love to return and try out some of the other activitites one day. Thank you!
