Nice stay, everything was as ypu would expect. The o ly tbing that was a let down was the bar maid that served us our drinks totally didn't want to be there. She was unhelpful and the only time she used any manners was when she was taking our money. L

Enjoyed our stay, however stood on a very small slither of glass in the swimming pool which made my toe bleed. Staff did get me a plaster, they reassured me they check in the pool later.

What a lovely place to stay staff were so friendly. Rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. Good food and also a Starbucks on sight.will definitely be visiting again.

comfortable hotel, but it's the staff who make it!
Great stay as ever, lovely staff, thanks for the chats to Sally, Nikki and Louie on front desk, and special shout out to Julie at breakfast F&B for remembering why we were last there and giving us a big hug when she found out we were back for the funeral. Love that the staff go that extra step and are friendly x

Hi. My family stay in Village Hotel was brilliant as it was back in July and hopefully it will be again in December with my 5 friends. Sally and Nicky are so helpful as was another lady who asked me if I needed to put my milk in a fridge to keep it cold as my room might be too warm for it. As I said I’m due to go back on 2nd December with my 5 Fussy friends, lovely friends they are, but I know they will love the hotel but not the carpet. I’m afraid it’s time for village hotel to get wooden floors or tiles down as the carpet in our room this time and the last time we’re badly stained and it really takes away from the cleanliness of the rest of our room and the hotel, which is lovely as is the service and food. Please consider this idea. It may be expensive but I’m sure easier to clean and healthier for guests. We had a lovely time on our trip thank you Village Hotel. Kind regards. Staff were excellent with a smooth and quick check-in and check-out process. Our “club” room was superb - spacious with a very comfortable bed and very large tv. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast, which was being cleared away at 9.30am. This seems too early for non-business guests and was affecting a few other guests too. Continental breakfast was good, the cooked breakfast was ok, but not exactly inspiring. Car parking was a bit confusing - we nearly paid the £5 per day charge, but on check-in were told it didn’t apply during the particular times we were at the hotel

Village Hotel, Bromborough
The Village Hotel in Bromborough is very good. Even though the booking in system wasn’t working properly when we arrived the staff took everything in their stride. The breakfast was very nice each day. The only incredibly minor things I’d mention were that the rooms were quite dark and the bathrooms could do with better lights. Applying makeup or having a shave wasn’t made easy. We didn’t have to pay for parking but that wasn’t very clear upon arrival. Be prepared for lots of mirrors too! All in all we had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly, especially the ladies looking after the breakfast sitting.

I’ve stayed at this hotel on many many occasions in the past and it has been remodelled. I don’t think the improvements were necessarily to my taste as it was really good as it was.

Overall a good stay, rooms are very spacious and were perfect for a family. Only reason I haven't given a 5* is because our room had a big dirty or burn mark on the carpet and there were holes in our bedding. Not a show stopper as we were barely in the room but a little disappointing given everything else was great.
