The Vézère valley is at your feet. You have a splendid view of a wooded and green landscape from this holiday home located in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil (2.5 km). There is a lot to discover in the surroundings. The region is known for the many caves, such as those of Font-de-Gaume (3 km) with world famous prehistoric wall paintings. Les Eyzies bears the marks of its long past. There are two important museums here. The Château de Puymartin (16 km) and for the children the water park near Le Bugue (14 km) will not be missing from the program of your holidays. The tourist sites of Sarlat (21) and Belvès (22) with many medieval curiosities, are nearby. For more caves, those of Lascaux (30 km) are essential.

The house is part of an old farm, and has a shared ping-pong table. It is good to relax on the terrace, or inside, in front of the open fire (there is wood available). The view of the woods from the bedroom is fantastic.

Het was een fantastisch vakantiehuis met een prachtig uitzicht en mooi zwembad. Ook de eigenaar was bijzonder gastvrij en behulpzaam, en we hebben genoten van de croissantjes en stokbroodjes die te bestellen waren voor het ontbijt. Ook de locatie van het huisje is perfect met korte routes naar diverse bezienswaardigheden, en erg leuke stadjes waarbij Sarlat niet gemist mag worden.

Prachtig en rustig gelegen vakantiewoning met privézwembad. Magnifiek uitzicht vanop het terras. Aangenaam ontvangst door de eigenaars. Zij zorgen ervoor dat je niets tekort komt. Het domein is ook mooi onderhouden. Zeer mooie groene omgeving. Heel leuke vakantie gehad.

Maison très agréable perdue dans la nature. Vue imprenable sur un paysage vierge sans aucun vis à vis même lointain...dépaysant ! Accueil très sympathique, service de qualité (pain frais, viennoiseries, bois pour feu de cheminée). Vacances au top.

Een woning behorende bij die van de eigenaar en nog een woning voor de verhuur. Bovenop een heuvel met schitterend uitzicht. Een heerlijk zwembad om af te koelen. Geen “last” van de eigenaars en andere huurders. Elke ochtend vers brood van de bakker, welke eigenaar is van de woningen. Ook onze viervoeter heeft zich goed vermaakt. Eigenaar heeft ook twee honden die zeer waaks zijn. Interieur van de woning is niet modern. Matrassen mogen worden vervangen. Genoeg ruimte voor een gezin met kinderen of twee stellen.

We rented as a family of four plus a baby and the place was really not suitable. The owners were nice and tried to rectify problems but in short this was the worst vacation rental we’ve stayed at. We arrived to the house and rooms being over 35c inside at ten pm. We decided to set the cot up downstairs as it was marginally cooler and less chance therefore of cot death.. in moving the sofa we found a carpet of mouse poo. My husband and I then had to go to a local hotel to sleep after a five hour drive. On returning to the villa in the morning and complaining the owners were argumentative and stand offish initially although they did make more effort as the week went on to be helpful and were apologetic. We booked the place on the pool and garden which were great but most other elements were disappointing. The place overall was tired and dated, poorly laid out and frankly not the standard we’d expect. We all left a couple of days earlier to get a good nights sleep in a hotel before going home.

Lorsque l'on arrive et que l'on voit la maison perchée là haut, on a déjà un coup de coeur et ensuite après l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, c'est sûr, les vacances seront parfaites. En effet, nous avons passé une semaine magnifique. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, des ballades en forêt. Depuis la terrasse, nous avons pu observer les cerfs qui sortent de la forêt à la tombée de la nuit et les entendre brâmer. Quel magnifique spectacle. Merveilleuse semaine.

La Couze is een geweldige plek midden in een bosrijke omgeving. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal! Als je houdt van rust, natuur en wandelen dan is dit the place to be! Huis is compleet ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijke eigenaren die elke ochtend, indien gewenst, verse broodjes aan de deur kunnen bezorgen. Kortom een vakantie die je niet snel zult vergeten. Wij hebben in iedergeval genoten!

Het ontvangst en de accommodatie waren super! De pomp van het zwembad was de hele dag nadrukkelijk aanwezig, wat er voor zorgde dat je niet echt kon genieten van de rust en stilte. Doordat het huis op een berg staat heb je ook de hele dag wind. De omgeving is prachtig. Veel prehistorie.

We werden allervriendelijkst ontvangen door de eigenaar. De accommodatie voldeed prima voor ons gezelschap van 6 personen en een hond. We hebben genoten van het zwembad dat prima werd onderhouden door de eigenaar, de mooie ligging en het geweldige uitzicht. Ook fijn dat de eigenaar elke morgen brood kon bezorgen. Enige puntje van kritiek is het zitcomfort van het zitmeubilair binnenshuis. Heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Prachtige ligging met burlende herten in september. Bankstel en matrassen slecht. Keuken en privacy redelijk. Zwembad graag vol zodat de pomp niet hoorbaar is. Verder een prima vakantiewoning met vriendelijke eigenaren. Alle winkels binnen 17 minuten bereikbaar In Le Bugue.

De Aankomst was heel bijzonder. Na een afgelegen slinger de slang pad zagen we ineens de accommodatie. En dat zag er veel belovend uit. Het huis heeft een schitterend uitzicht met een enorme wei eraan vast. De eigenaren zijn super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het zwembad wordt dagelijks onderhouden. Mede hierdoor is en blijft het zwembad heerlijk verfrissend. Onze kinderen hebben zich prima vermaakt. Het enige min puntje is dat er geen wc beneden in de woning aanwezig is.

We zijn er even helemaal tussenuit geweest. Genoten van een rustgevende omgeving in een mooie setting. De eigenaars zorgden ervoor dat we niks tekortkwamen zonder opvallend aanwezig te zijn.

We hebben heel erg genoten van onze vakantie in dit huis. Het zicht is adembenemend mooi, prachtige zonsondergangen en vooral heel rustig ! Het niet-verwarmde zwembad was in het begin nog wat fris, maar na een paar dagen zon, wel aangenaam. (ondertussen ook met omheining rond, wat niet te zien is op de foto's). Vriendelijke eigenaars die vlak naast wonen, maar waar je geen last van hebt. Integendeel, hij is bakker en indien gewenst, liggen er 's ochtends verse broodjes voor je klaar !!! Kortom een aanrader voor wie van de rust houdt ...

There is nothing negative I could say about this property. The owners were very helpful and accommodating - even bringing our fresh bakery requirements every day and leaving it outside the door. The pool was very clean and a good size. Terrace and surrounding areas just perfect to relax. The whole house, including bedding etc., was spotless. It is also well placed to visit a lot of the local sites.
