Great place to stay for the price. The beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. The building is past its prime so the AC isn’t the best but other than that, it is a budget friendly and clean place to stay.

the hotel was very dirty. in the bathroom there were shampoo stains on the wall, like they never washed the side of the showers. Carpet was with stains, was terrible. I don’t recommend this hotel

Really good price, The Hotel is very centrical it has parking. Rooms and beds need some upgrades but over all it is a good Hotel.

Está en buenas condiciones.. únicamente que se me olvidó un gorro y ya la ama de llavres se había ido .. se supone que deben tener un resguardo para las cosas olvidadas .. uno viene de lejos y obvio que no puede regresar próximo día ...

Yegamos alas 4 am de nuestro vuelo y nos dijieron que no tenian nuestra habitacion losta que por que no abiamos yegado temprano y nos tubimos qje esoerar por que no abi ninguna habitacion displonible. Y hasta las 8 de la manana nos entragadon una habitacion. Como va aser posible que por yegar tarde uno de su avion ya no le guarden tu habitacion si ya esta pagada. Ya despues de eso me dieron mi cuarto pero ahora tengo q yamar a expedia lara aver si me regresan mi dinero d ese dia

Do not trust the pictures that you see. This Hotel is so outdated and not clean. They just spray perfume on their sheets to seem like they are washed.

This was a terrible expierence! I was shocked, Hotels.com did not fund me, at least partial. I expexted mire fom rhem. So many things were wrong, since we triedchecking in. Giving people keys, that were already occupied. Dirty, dingy rooms. Unpleasant service. I have an upcoming trip to Texas, family vacation. Im not sure i want to book with Hotels.com...

Hometown visit
Great to visit my hometown where I was born. The location was excellent and easy to walking distance in the historic centro. These are streets that I remember walking around when I was a kid. Love been back home. Had a great time visiting. Leon has lots of good food and goodies to eat.

Not what I expected...
They say you get what you pay for. But after staying here for only one night I now rather pay more to get rest. You can hear others people’s conversations from next door. The sheets and towels are old. The curtains are so dirty. I don’t recommend this place.

Centro Hotel
This hotel is steps away from the Centro of Leon. Parking is offered free of charge. Staff is nice and recommended places to buy great leather goods for a great price. Rooms offer a great view to the Centro park of Leon. Room price is affordable but keep in mind that this is an older hotel. Definitely will stay here again on my next trip to Leon.

Comfortable economical close to Centro Historico
We only had one night to spend but the Hotel Rex was ideal for its reasonable cost and closeness to the central plaza and the centro historico. We had a reasonable breakfast but our coffee was cold!.

Bad hotel
I booked because in Expedia it showed rooms available so I pay and I get to the hotel to find out that there is no rooms and it took the front desk guy about 10 minutes to tell me that cause he was on the phone (he wasn’t on the phone when I told him about my booking) overall bad service I have been trying to get a refund and it seems like I won’t be able to do so because of their policies or something like that but just didn’t even stay there I don’t recommend it at all and it didn’t look as nice as the pictures

Decent hotel literately in the Historic downtown
It's a decent hotel. Building is quite old, and with that comes old carpets, old elevators, etc. But rooms are clean, and smell good (none of that old building smell). Beds are of satisfiable quality and firmness, and restaurant is cheap, yet good. Also, internet in the room and in the common areas was surprisingly good. Oh, and parking is included in the price, which is quite important in downtown Leon, as parking is often a problem, and it is not cheap. Overall, I'd say I would recommend this hotel, given it's price/value ratio, but just be aware, if you do not like old hotels, do not come here.

Hotel has no room heating
I booked 2 nights.Staff were excellent clean room However heating system not working I inquire about it I was told heating system NOT WORKING FOR ENTIRE HOTEL??? I was freezing both nights ( unusually cold for season)..the only good thing it was whithin walking distance of the places I wanted to see.

Good location but that's it!
We speak a little Spanish and can usually get by. But no hotel staff spoke one word of English or french(can't fault them there)! Although they were very helpful, they couldn't make up for the condition of the hotel-smelly hallways in need of upgrades, reeked of cigarette smoke even though it's non-smoking, room cleanliness so-so, also in need of upgrade. Not a good place for the price!

I would not go back
I think this hotel is trying hard to upgrade their image but they have a long way to go. Lobby and hallways smelled terrible..carpets are in terrible condition. The elevator smelled like vomit and by looking at the carpet it is possible that I am accurate about source of smell. Some strange looking characters around so I would not bring kids to this hotel. The expedia images tell a different story. The rooms were not that bad though. The bathroom was also fine. If you are in a jam and cannot find hotels in Leon then this is fine, otherwise wait until they complete upgrading and raise pricess to attract different clients.
