とてもリーズナブル&清潔で蘭州駅前のホテル

今回はシルクロード旅行のスタート地点として蘭州駅前のこちらのホテルに滞在しました。 世界的チェーンのイビスホテルらしくリーズナブル&部屋はそれほど狭さはなく清潔で快適です。 部屋の窓からは蘭州の昔ながらの町並みが見えます。 近隣にはコンビニ、お土産店や飲食店が多数あり、特に蘭州名物の蘭州ラーメンのお店はホテル付近に何軒もありました。 蘭州駅前なので翌日に鉄道利用する方は最適ですが、高速鉄道の蘭州西駅は全く別の場所で郊外なので市内バス1路で１元約50分くらいです。1路のバスは頻繁に出てます。 また有名な黄河も約2キロメートル離れてますが市内バス1路で20分くらいです。 タクシーも初乗り7元です。 フロントの対応は3人スタッフがいましたがそのうちの1人が英語ができました。 チェックアウトの際は早朝だったのでスタッフが１人で英語対応ができませんでしたが中国語で「退房」と書いて見せたらすぐに終わります。 全体的に安くて清潔なホテルです。 英語対応が難しいので簡単な「入房」(チェックイン)と「退房」(チェックアウト)だけ紙に書いておけば事前の予約、決算済みならパスポートを見せたら大丈夫です。 大変満足です。 *室内は禁煙でした。

蘭州駅前で便利だが、遅い時間のチェックインはもたつく。

3回目の滞在。いつも午後11時以降のチェックイン。フロントスタッフの問題なのか予約サイトの問題なのか不明だが、毎回チェックインがもたつく。少なくとも10分以上待たされれる。部屋は清潔で問題無し。長距離バスセンターが近く路線バスも始発が多い。移動メインに考えているので選択肢に入ります。

Beautiful hotel in Lanzhou, China

The Ibis train station hotel is an easy walk from the train station, and there are plenty of local food options within a 20 minute walk. My only complaint is that the room was too hot (in January!) and we could not get the the room to cool down. Note that the hotel and city of Lanzhou have very little English, so a translator is needed. American credit cards are not accepted at the hotel, so pay online when booking the room, or pay in local currency.

you need Chinese bank card and mobile phone

You can only pay by cash if you dont have Chinese bank card , also, if you dont have Chinese mobile number, you cannot log in to Wifi which is horrendous. Inconvenient.
