Great location, and comfortable beds for a quick stopover and visit to Kumamoto castle. Filthy carpet, outdated bathroom even on renovated 9th floor.

The hotel is located next to Kumamoto station. Transportation is very easy both locally and going to other places. There are many restaurants inside the station with lots of dining options. Like it.

We stayed in Kumamoto for three nights. Rooms were spacious and clean. It was sweet they provided a little bag for my son with slippers. The staff was friendly and spoke English. I enjoyed extra clean towels each day. The breakfast buffet had a lot of selections for western type food but was more pricey than I would have liked to spend. This hotel was walking distance to the train station which was very convenient for us. Overall, I enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Super spacious room. Amazing. Lots of storage spaces. Very comfortable. Bathroom little dated. Otherwise perfect. Awesome location next to train station.

This property needs to be updated. Rooms appear old and outdated. Room size was good but the carpet is old and appears dirty in the halls and in the rooms. The bed is hard and feels like you are sleeping on a box spring. I literally could feel the round springs. The pillows were hard. Also be careful when booking I did not realize I booked a smoking room and my room smelled like cigarettes. They did change it to a nonsmoking room for additional charges. The staff was very warm and friendly. The staff and location were the best part of the stay here. Right next to the rental car and train station.

Great location. The hotel was very tidy, staff friendly and helpful. Very minor negatives. WiFi was a bit unstable. I would prefer a chair with a back to sit at the desk. There was a bit of thumping noise this morning between 7.30 and 9.00. Overall, a very nice hotel

Good location
Old-style stay. We have a real key instead of a card key. But the location was really good. There was an event just in front of the hotel. Very near to the mall. You could also walk to Kumamoto Castle, like 30 mins. The bus was also very convenient.

We chose this hotel due to the special Kumamoto decoration for the kids as a surprise for the trip. It was a very enjoyable three night stay as we loved the cute Kumamon bears that the kids loved playing, appreciated the spacious room and layout that fit ideally for a family of four with young kids and loved its close proximity to the Kumamoto station and Amu Plaza shopping centre. The kids were so sad when we had to leave for the next location.
