While we are very sorry you couldn't get here, you were not left on the curb.. your were still more than 2 hours away, furthermore the blame is not being placed in the right place. YOU made the reservation knowing full well the hours, and YOU received numerous messages about those hours. YOU had your flight cancelled, and YOU did not contact us about it until AN HOUR AFTER the check in hours. WE could have resold the room much earlier in the day had YOU contacted US in the more than 10 Hours YOU had prior to your arrival when YOU learned of the cancelled flight out of Quebec. Please understand we have rules for a many reasons, and these reasons, one of which is your safety driving unknown roads in bad weather. Was going to offer a partial refund but since you took these steps instead and would like to hurt our small business, we will now not be offering anything. Enjoy the remainder of your travels.

I wish their was more explanation from you as to why you are leaving such a poor review a month after your stay but I know the reason, and their is nothing I could have done that would have made you happy. No apologies from us, as they are not warranted, we did everything we could and some to accommodate your party.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property, but even in your own words to me when you checked in and stared at the plaque with your name on it for a few minutes, you said "I didn't read the information about the property, I just booked" Those couple seconds could have helped you, as any property will have a big icon that said FREE BREAKFAST or BREAKFAST INCLUDED, even before you look for details. that in our case say, no meal included no matter what time of year you are staying. This booking site does not allow us to write that we serve breakfast 7 months of the year only.

This doesn't warrant a response, but as you put the time into writing it and not picking up a phone while also saying a you wrote emails that we never actually got.. I'll say this. its 2023, so many ways to contact us and a location that is searchable on google.. you could have easily got in contact with us if the posted hours you agreed to when you reserved were something you had a question about. All our contact information is right there for you, but hey I get it if you think the world should bend to your inability to communicate.

This Just In, woman with a long white mullet doesn’t like the smell of a clean home. When asked for further comment about the actual room furnishings, bed or breakfast, the woman was too busy looking for her smokes.

Hi Valerie, Im sorry to hear you are frustrated about breakfast, that is not served after October 16th and clearly stated that no meal is provided on the booking platform you chose. We did not make the reservation for you, so not having interaction with us, or breakfast should have been no surprise as these important factors are there for you on the profile before YOU choose to reserve. The emails after you get from us are reminders, and can serve as easy outs if you missed something. As for the footwear... Your house your rules, our home, our rules. We do however give you freedom to use the heat as you please. Panel is very clearly in view for you.

Thank you for making everyone aware. Yes, we have a strict check in policy. Its dangerous to drive here in the dark, and you would disturb other guests. The hours are posted, we do not hide them, and even give many people an extra hour. You were given a reminder email 6 days before incase you forgot, and I tried to get you to cancel with time for us to refill the room and get you a refund. You didn't want to until 5pm on the day of.

Darn. We have review from someone that took the time to leave a low review but not the extra effort to tell us why. Wish we knew what we could have done to make your stay better. Was it the salad for breakfast?
