Pros: Excelente ubicacion, 2 cuadras de Waikiki, la vista espectacular Diamond Head, cuarto con todas sus comodidades, excelente precio. Contras: Cero comunicacion para cualquier necesidad, un solo mini shampu y acondicionador para 6 dias 4 personas, la TV nunca se pudo accesar y no tuvimos comunicacion para saber como funcionaba. A lo mejor era una tonteria pero sin ayuda como huesped. Deberia tener atencion al huesped en todo momento.

The property is a bit old but it was not too bad. The free parking helped a lot. Our internet and TV did not work the entire trip. Management is not in the office most days and can be hard to contact if you need something. But the area is so nice and there is a mini mart in the lobby for the quick snacks when you get back.

Our stay was perfect for a family of 4. We had more than enough room and all the things we needed to cook almost all our meals. Melissa was very helpful. She was always a text away and provided us information for a taxi that offered a flat rate. Will definitely stay again.

Aloha! This was an amazing property with an outstanding team of staff. My family and I stayed at Hawaiian Sun Holidays for about two weeks and the staff (Jessica and Bilha) took care of us the entire time. They both made sure all of our needs were met and also recommended good attractions and dining spots to go to during our stay. In general, both Jessica and Bilha were very hospitable, accommodating and warm, making our family feel very welcomed while we were in Hawaii! On top of the staff, our room was very clean and well-maintained (beautiful view of the mountains too), parking is free and safe (supervised by a security guard at all hours) and the property is within short walking distance of Kalākaua Avenue and Waikiki Beach (specifically the Kuhio Beach section). Regardless of the close proximity to Kalākaua Avenue, it's still in a quiet spot and is reasonably safe as well! Thank you so much for such a memorable stay, Hawaiian Sun Holidays; we will definitely be recommending this property to others and if we come back to Hawaii, we will surely book our accommodations here again. Well l personally liked property n my family also. It had everything you would need n the kitchen was well equipped. It helped on saving money on breakfast. It was very clean. Location was great. One block from the beach n shopping n dinning. I would stay here again. Don't recommend it if you want house keeping everyday, since it's an apartment/ condo type property n no one is going to come and do your dishes. But for me I loved it.

Property and location was great. Including pool. Only issue was there were not any pots or pans for cooking in kitchen which was strange. Had to use microwave only. Loved parking too! Many folks struggle parking in garage as they only would park on 2 and 3. Levels 4 and 5 were open. Parking garage is low and tight so don't get a large suv or truck. Mini van barely fit

Our parking structure does have a 6-foot limit which most parking structures have here and you can park in any stall from the 2nd to the 5th floor. all of our units provide pots and pans, which are located in the drawer under the oven unfortunately it is possible you didn't locate the drawer and maybe you were unable to reach our front desk office. The check in was weird. We stayed in Tower I but the check-in was in an office on the 4th floor of Tower II. So that was a bit confusing. Our Mountain View room was not exciting but had everything we needed. The only complain we had was the floor was a bit dirty. We had no problem finding parking but the parking ramp had low ceiling so tall/large vehicles need to be aware.

Safe place to stay
I highly recommend you stay at the Hawaiian Sun Holidays in Honolulu.The little things were greatly appreciated. The condo included everything we needed to be comfortable and everything was in good working condition. The additional fan and extra towels in the room were greatly appreciated. The view was amazing. The location is perfect. The beach, shops, restaurants are all within walking distance. I felt safe here due to the security guards on the premises. Security guards were present around the clock.Thank you for making us feel safe while we were on a family vacation!

This place is a great location, a quick walk to tons of stuff. However, the property itself was horrible. First off the pool area (one of the main reasons we booked this place) had its "Normal maintenance" scheduled since January. We were however only told a week before our trip. So we had no access to the pool or spa. We should have been notified at time of booking. The ceiling was literally falling off in our room. I have pictures of Huge chunks of the ceiling / drywall gone. The floors were disgusting. The carpets are old and so dirty you stick to them. The kitchen sink backed up into our room and stunk us out. We had to leave it was so bad. Even the other rooms on the floor could smell it. They started construction at 6 AM!! Hammering and banging away. The building lost power in the middle of the night so they came across a loud speaker and woke us all up to tell us. Waking up kids was not fun. The fridge drawer and shelf were broken and literally taped together, we couldn't use half of our fridge. The AC was really loud and ran non stop which only brought the temp down a few degrees. Our friends room AC was fine so we know it was ours. The elevator was stuck twice. The parking was a nightmare. Yes, it is provided IF you get there in time. If you don't park before early evening, you are out of luck. You have to drive around and find one. NOT HAPPY!!! Really put a damper on our whole trip. I would NOT stay here again.

1. We checked in after 6:00 PM. And the security door was locked but the receptionist didn’t give me the key and no one told us that we needed the key to access from the garage to the elevator. We had to walked back and forth until someone inside saw us to open the door for us to get inside the security door to take the elevator to the 15 floor. 2. The room was nice but the upper room was making noise all night even at 3:00 am. Sound like chairs moving all the time when we were in the room.

Communication was bad. Garage was dark no signs for elevators. No dishwasher. Washing machines were public with additional cost. Wait time for elevators was outrageous had to use stairs 90%. I would not recommend or use it again

The hotel is very old and needs updating. The halls smelled of garbage (literal trash from the trash chute) the entire week. Had no idea where to check-in at (4th floor in a shady looking office). The furniture was uncomfortable and there was too much packed into the tiny condo. We planned on cooking most our meals (hence getting a place with a kitchen), but there wasn’t much room to move around, so we only cooked the night we arrived. The dishes were in the cupboards dirty, so had to clean everything before using them. The air conditioner did not keep the room very cold either. Would not stay here again.
