The deck is amazing and large. The view is outstanding. Condo was large enough for our party of six and the living room area is spacious enough for everyone to hang out. There was a closet full of stuff like a cooler whoch we used, snorkel gear, and misc other things. Master bed is large with a huge double sink bathroom and large shower. The room with the twin beds also had its own bath and shower

Do Not go to this property until the construction is completed. Also do not let Dan tell you the construction noise and dust fumes is minor because it is not. I could not hear my husband speak to me inside our condo because the jackhammering of the cement OUTSIDE our door was so loud. Then to top it off when i called Dan at RK maui he played it off that " Well its only from 9am to 4pm" REALLY??. I'm yelling on my phone to you at the top of my voice over the jackhamming and drilling and you THINK THIS IS OK? No sir, you did not say the construction and fumes would be so bad i could not be at my condo for 7 hours out of the day. I flew 13 hours and paid in advance for THIS? Wow. You should be ashamed of yourself. If it wasnt for expedia stepping in i would have cried the entire 10 days. Then RK Maui has the nerve to not want to let me go somewhere else. I told you there was construction. Yes you did but said it would not affect my stay and that no one has complained. Another lie. 4 couples checked out, 2 the night before from the horrible noise and smell and 2 more the same day i did. Thank heaven Expedia got me to a quiet normal location. I would lost part of my sanity without Expedia to help me. Gods honest truth. Shame on you RK Maui. I made sure to document the scene and have actual video of the noise and the and the the work being done in front of my suite.

Julie,I am sorry you were not happy with the accommodations. We did list on our website and the Expedia platform that the resort was experiencing maintenance. We also told you before arrival; included in your welcome packet that was sent a couple of weeks prior to your arrival. We did notify you prior to your stay via email and phone conversations. We also greatly reduced our rate by over 100 per night to accommodate for the construction. During our phone conversation, I offered you the opportunity to cancel without penalty and you declined. Once you arrived and wanted to cancel (after knowing about the construction), it would have been a huge loss. Had you not been aware it would have been a different story. The construction took place Monday through Friday 8a – 4pm and yes it was loud. Which is why we were proactive with letting guests know prior. Once you were aware and committed to staying, our cancellation fees did apply. I am sorry you are unhappy. I am glad you enjoyed Maui. I hope you consider us on you next visit to Maui. We would be happy to offer a discount. Many aloha’s.

Everything about our stay was great. Communication from the owners was clear. The location was convenient to Kaanapali, Napili, and everywhere on West Maui. The unit is clean and we watched whales from the balcony every morning. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The resort was located next to really good dining options that we tried. The beach was also right outside the pool area, which was convenient. The unit itself was smaller than I thought and the refrigerator was a little rusty looking.

Great little property! Had all the amenities we needed. Only thing I would recommend is letting folks know about the daily parking fee not being included in the total room cost well before a couple days out. That was an unexpected email and it was $15 per day. Kind of steep if you have a long vacation planned.

Owners very responsive. I had misplaced my access info. Within minutes I received a personal response. From our 10th floor porch we seen a dozen or so whales and three turtles swimming in the ocean and beach area. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable.Parking was excellent always easy and close. The pool and BBQ grill were very accessible. Lahaina was about 15 minute drive with great activities such as Front street Shops, ferry to Lanai, Giant Banyan tree, great dining. Less than 1 hour from airport. Beautiful coastline swimming, snorkeling, sights. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Spectacular view of the ocean. Had numerous whale sightings from the balcony. Room was nicely setup with everything we needed including a washer and dryer. Only downside was the bed in my opinion it needed a new mattress. I didn't sleep well the entire time.

Nice resort unit at the west side of Maui
The unit is very nice with some ocean view. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The owners are very good to communicate with us before the trip. Some minor things need to improve. For example, the bathroom door is tight to close or open. We are set to check out before 11 am but can't get the door access after 10 am. The resort HOA can't help us to open the door. Have to call the owner to solve the problem. It was a computer automatic setting without considering the Day light saving time change!

This property was perfect with the full kitchen, washer/dryer, amazing view of the ocean and pool air from our very roomy deck, clean & beautiful pool area with 5 gas grills (we cooked meals 3 times on the grills)It felt like home we could choose beach or pool area lounging. Nice neighborhood, close to restaurants and hiking/running paths. Great to bring drinks to the pool vs. buying at a pool bar. Beautiful, serene, & relaxing! We will definitely come back here.

Several years ago Maui, specifically the west side, experienced beach erosion that leaves us without a beach (most years), October - April. We are working with County and State on a beach restoration project but that is moving slower than anticipated. So... short story long, we may have a beach, if not there are many beaches a short drive away. There is one about 1.5 miles away that has a lovely beach walk stretching several miles long, Ka'anapali Trail begins at Hanakao'o Beach Park. Have a wonderful day.

This is a nice place and we were very happy overall with almost everything. (We tried showering after 9:30p on 3 nights and the water never got shower 'hot'. It was warm plus a few degrees maybe, never hot.) Alas, it was a great spot and we were very comfortable and had no issues (besides that one) and I would stay here again. Absolutely.

The owners were fantastic - we had a few questions and they responded immediately. The unit was well supplied with utensils, towels and soaps. The unit was very clean. We loved sitting on the lanai for breakfast.

My favorite item was the efficient layout of our condominium, circular connections and the well appointed kitchen. I enjoyed the concierge talks and their further tips during conversations at the desk. LGBTQ...welcoming posters on one wall. The pool temperature was great and the pool itself well-maintained. Loved hearing happy children sounds from it coming through the lanai door. Finding the hotel was easy from Highway 30. The elevators were quick and smooth. My husband enjoyed his conversations with the night security man who gave him a taste of Hawaiian culture. He helped us with the condo lights and TV remotes. The most negative experience was discovering the dent and scrape on our rental car's passenger side front panel which I suspect happened in the basement parking lot because spots were so narrow. I had to use extreme care parking a compact car. The perpetrator didn't leave a note admitting fault. Thereafter we parked above ground where there were always available spaces with more room.
