Best escape
No faulting this stay!! It was beautiful, clean, spacious, private, and quiet. Owners were very accommodating. Amazing bed, room and bathroom, supplied with quality toiletries. Cute outdoor bath house included with extra cost. 10/10. Will definitely save this one and go again.

After the Tora walk, this was a great recuperation overnighter. Big room looking out at walled, leafy garden, comfortable bed, clean big bathroom with scented products, etc.

Everything we could have wanted. Lovely and clean with extra little things that would come in so handy like hair dryer and straightner. And body wash shampoo etc. Kitchen well stocked too Handy to main street shops with off street parking

Very cute character, and well appointed property. Every thing you could possibly need & thoughtful extras. The spa bath in the garden was awesome. The outlook from the bed through the big bifold windows into the garden was very restful.

Easy to book and communication with owners good. However a misunderstanding on website about breakfast. Saw rating and comment on breakfast so assumed it was supplied. If it was an extra, didn’t see where to book it.

Studio was roomy, comfortable and private. Nice touches with welcome chocolates and coffee maker. Short walk to town was very convenient. A most enjoyable stay.

Lovely relaxing stay in Greytown.
Just off the main road, so quiet, and walking distance to all Greytown has to offer. Beautifully presented with large windows that open onto a cute garden and fountain.

Fantastic base to explore Greytown
This was our 2nd time at Shy Studio. The studio is so well appointment. The attention to detail is amazing. It is a lovely spot to base yourself to explore Greytown and surroundings. The spa is lovely addition to a luxurious stay.

Wairarapa weekend get-away
My partner and I wanted to get away for a quick break from work and this Greytown cottage provided the ideal spot. Within easy walking distance of the lovely Greytown shops and the White Swan (where we had dinner) but well back off the street so it was private and quiet. The cottage had plenty of character but still had all the facilities we needed and was very clean and well-maintained. It was ideal for an August get-away with the woodburner and the outdoor spa providing that extra touch. The cottage owners communication was great from our perspective - provided all the information we needed but you were never aware they lived in the house at the front as they gave you your own space. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay and plan to go back next year

Lovely little cottage. Bed was very soft and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking stuff. Lounge was nice too. Bathroom had all the necessities with a strong shower. Would stay again.

Lovely cottage, lovely people
The cottage changed hands and we were the new owner's first guests. Fortunately it is in good hands, Ian and Sandie were lovely hosts and the cottage has been fitted out well. The cottage itself is beautiful and has a lovely garden, spa bath and BBQ, all of which we made use of. Would go again.
