The hotel is situated within walking distance of Hakata Train station, so convenient for JR lines and shinkansen travel.
The hotel is overpriced for what you get, the room is small and they have put a large chair which gets in the way of getting to the end of bed meaning you have to constantly shimmy past it (just gets in the way). The bathroom is OK. There are no smoking rooms or facilities in or near the hotel so a 5-10 min walk to the park designated space is required. No breakfast included as standard which had it been might have made the price a bit more warranted. There was no view, the window looked out over another buildings stairwell where people regularly travelled meaning that we had to constantly remember to close the curtains for privacy which when the room was hot was a bit of a pain. The bed was not very comfy and the pillow was terrible - far too thin.
