This stay was such a relief, as we had a host cancel on us very last minute and forced to find new accommodations on short notice all at much higher rates. Because we had booked the place for our 3 adult children all coming in to Durango for first visit we wanted it to be perfect, the host even allowed us a peek a week earlier then our children arrived since we live local and wanted a chance to see what we could fit, such as Christmas tree, and to see what if anything we thought our kids and us would need to be comfortable. After initial visit we felt so at ease this was going to be great trip for kids. When traveling with our family of 5, we do a fair amount of cooking as all our children love to cook and all live apart so when together they get a chance to show off. A few weeks earlier we had a horrible short term stay in Dallas TX, due to horrible cleaning in advance and since we were cooking a Thanksgiving meal it really ruined the mood of stay. Fast forward to this fantastic condo, not only was hygiene and cleaning really top notch, but the entire place was just well prepped and allowed for us to easily relax and simply enjoy each other’s company. Lastly, if you have never been to Durango or try and navigate the entertainment, dining, and outdoor activities I would say it’s hard to find a more central place. Our stay was through Christmas and we did a fair amount of walking, skiing, sightseeing and dining. The highlight of the trip was the central location this place offers. Great views, covered parking, and walking distance to all. Absolutely perfect.

Wonderful downtown condo
Perfect condo for our 2 month vacation, location was great, building manager was excellent and the other residents of the building were very friendly and knowledgeable of events. Very easy with a dog, 2elevators, and located very close to Buckley park and the walking trail. The king bed was comfortable and enjoyed many mornings drinking coffee and enjoying a beautiful view of the mountains. The queen bedroom was dark and cozy for those who like the sleep in. Kitchen was large and we cooked many a great meal in it. Living room had plenty of comfortable seating for friends and neighbors to get together. Outdoor 3rd story community area was a great play to watch the folks on Main Street and share cocktails with friends, beautiful views. We have been coming to Durango for years and this is our favorite place. Will rent again if available. The owner, Chris, was very nice and accommodating, and excellent experience

Love this condo!
We had a fantastic stay! As others have mentioned, the condo is centrally located and you can walk to everything. We enjoyed our morning walks with our coffee and pup. The unit was clean, very comfortable, and kitchen stocked for cooking every night. Checking in and out was seemless. Thank you for renting your condo Chris!!

Perfect downtown condo!
We loved experiencing all that Downtown Durango has to offer during our extended stay. The condo definitely met our expectations and allowed us to work remotely. Comfortable accommodations. Cookware to make meals in (if you can convince yourself to take a break from enjoying all the delicious foods nearby). Short walk to Buckley Park or the Animas River Trail. Highly recommend this property to fully immerse yourself in Durango!

Perfect work/school-cation
This was the perfect place for us to hide from the pandemic for 3 weeks. We're fortunate enough to be able to work and learn from home so got out of our hometown for a bit. This condo is right in the action (whatever action there is) downtown. Everything is within walking distance. Oscar's, the grocery and liquor store are right around the corner. The property manager is very accommodating and the very few, very minor issues (scheduling) we had were resolved quickly. Highly recommend this place and we may return after the pandemic.
