"This is a quaint, historic hotel, built around 1927, in downtown Flagstaff. All of the rooms have the names of celebrities that have stayed there. Personally, I prefer old hotels that have not been terribly modernized so that they no longer look old. This one falls under that category. My room had an old oak dresser and nightstand. I liked the old wooden doors. The bed was comfortable, the window view was of the street, across from the Petit Marche, a great little place for coffee and pastries...

needed a good cleaning, but other than that the hotel is great and in a great location in Flaggstaff."

"A small late 1890s hotel, very close to the railroad station and attractively priced. Attentive and helpful reception, room was ready at 1:30(early). Clean, spacious and comfortable. Claw foot tub, nice TV(a little difficult to navigate). Wonderful restaurant with many regional choices at attractive prices- loved the Pasole. The only downside was the loud bar music - our room #44 was located over the bar. Ambien wins again."

"The property and the room were impeccable and the person at the front desk was really nice. Every room was full but the property was still totally silent. Appreciated the surprise tub and bath salts. The mattress wasn't great for our backs, but not outside what is pretty typical even for high end hotels, so I think we're just getting old. Would definitely recommend to others and come back ourselves. Totally worth the splurge. "

"We loved this place. It was clean, and had everything one could need. You can walk to downtown or the university or several breweries and restaurants. Quiet. I would definitely stay here again when in Flagstaff. "

"Traveled to Flagstaff to spend Thanksgiving with our daughter attending NAU. This property was very near NAU and downtown. Plenty of choices of restaurants and bars that are less than a block away. Property was quiet and dark. Heaters kept us comfortable. Visited Sunset Crater, the Pueblos and Walnut Canyon. I'd be happy to stay here on future visits."
