Excellent distance to wedding venue. Enough space to accommodate all of my family. Pool table was a hit with the teenagers. Most helpful was continuous contact with host. Would definitely stay again!

The house was amazing! Tons of space and levels and the view is spectacular. The sunrises were breathtaking and the area was quiet and peaceful. The house was large enough for us to spread out and all have comfortable places to gather and sleep. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cookware and appliances. There was nothing we needed that was not provided! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house, it was really beautiful! Excellent location. Everything was wonderful. The size was perfect as we had a large group. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. Plenty of linens and a nice washer and dryer. We had 10 women and never ran out of hot water for the showers. The view is beautiful and watching the sunrise on the lake was huge bonus. Would love to be there when the weather is a little warmer.

This was a threat fit for our family. We enjoyed the house as well as the lake views. The stairs was a challenge but we survived 😊we learned how out of shape we were. Definitely recommend!

I stayed here 6 years ago for a bachelorette, and the house was honestly bigger and better than I remember. Everyone had plenty of space. Plenty of fridges. We had perfect weather, so we used the water toys every day. I didn’t remember the stairs to the dock (that were a great source of exercise). Everything was great. We also rented from his lake toy inventory and no regrets.

We had a terrific time at this house on the lake! Our kids are adults now, so we rent a house and invite the three of them to come with significant others and grandkids. It s a crew of 11 right now-8 adults and 3 kids. This 4 level home allowed everyone to have private space while also giving us large enough spaces to gather together for meals and group activities. Tons of
TVs, pool/ping pong table, karaoke machine, two fridges, 4 balconies, outdoor shower, boat dock with kayaks and life preservers....on and on. We have rented houses several times over the years and this one was, by far, the most well equipped. Towels in each bedroom, bars of soap & extra TP in each bath, hand soap at every sink, a super well-stocked kitchen, plenty of beach towels, a cooler, trash bags, cleaning supplies, dish & laundry detergent--it was a dream! We also rented a beautiful pontoon boat from Ray which arrived at our dock the night prior followed by a walk through when the key was delivered the next morning. To be honest, this was the best experience we've had in regards to anticipating and delivering exceptional guest service. Thanks for everything Ray, we will most certainly seek out one of your properties again!

Determining a Summer of 2020 location was difficult in light of the pandemic - at the time of our trip, the covid #s in GA were quite high. However, this property is extraordinarily private - yet only 10-12 minutes to shopping for essentials and more. We wanted exactly that as 2 of the 10 of us are in our 70's and not healthy, necessitating little contact with anyone outside the family. Lakefront views and general "peacefulness" were wonderful; the dock area & deep water offers much fun - we did not rent the owner's pontoon and should have but were able to get an almost new boat through Paradise Rentals - an amazing rental marina about 30 minutes away by car. However, anyone considering this property should consider carefully that there are approximately 85 steps down to the dock - some sections in good condition; others not so much or quite steep - once a day down and back is enough! The house interior is very spacious, light, open with good separation for guests. Because there are 2 bedrooms on the main level, it would have been nice to have had either a larger hall bath or each of those rooms to have had a basic bath of its own. The BIG DISAPPOINTMENT: one member of our party turned down his bed linen first night to see the sheets covered in human hair....not just a few but a disgusting amt; linens had to be washed/dryed before use!! The property is well "stocked" with pretty much anything one would need for a lakeside vacation. The owner offers assistance if needed and is prompt to respond.

About a 35 min.boat ride from Port Royale marina. Long steep driveway that is very scary to drive down. Long steep stairway to deck area, would not recommend to anyone over the age of 55 or anyone with leg or heart issues as you will pass out on the trek up (probably 150 steps..some crooked and very steep). The house continually had a smell of a dead animal, which we told owner about and his solution was to pour vinegar in the drain...did not help in the least. The beds were like sleeping on concrete slab and the bottom level had a smell of mildew which at least drowned out the dead animal smell. We rented a boat from the owner (middle eastern) and upon bringing it back he notified us of a clamp and bolt that had broken off the bimini top. No big deal..or so we thought ($5) part..which had already been replaced on the other side. The dock is narrow and when you park it, the wake of other boat jostles the boat against the side of dock which catches the bimini top. He told us it would be around $100 to repair, which we thought was rediculous but with 4 families splitting we sucked it up. Then he tells us he's going to file an insurance claim, which then held our $500 deposit, which to this date 14 days later i still haven't received back. Then a day after we left when I inquired about the deposit, he told me there was damage to deck from fireworks being shot off. The damage was the size of a quarter and he has kept that $500 deposit to this date as well. It's obvious he's a shady character that has 5 or 6 rental properties that he rents and the. probably enhances the rental by keeping deposits. I will be filing a report with BBB and will file a small claims suit against him. Please beware of this man, there are plenty of other Lake Lanier properties available.

The family enjoyed our stay but we did have issues that I should have considered beforehand. The house is 5 levels and sits up on the side of a mountain. To get from the main level to the wonderful footing dock is 117 steps. So it is not for people who have mobility issues or for families with small children. The kitchen is very well stocked so you will not have any issues cooking whatever you want. There was an issue of the BBQ grill outside deck main level. Cooking on it PV frate huge flames because the top did not fully close so we burnt our meal one night and didn’t use it again. The main levek deck was our family’s favorite. The living room on the main level was huge and quite comfortable for all. The top master bedroom has a serious air conditioning issue where it would cut off after 2 hours. Handyman came with NO TOOLS and didn’t fix it. Many of the light fixtures were burned out. Limiting a guest to a small amount of garbage in a large house was really far fetch. We had to be creative in our waste products. The location is relatively close to Dawsonville where nothing you need will be found. Dahlonega is a short trip as well as Helen. We had a hard time finding a real beach where the little ones could get in. One feels like you are deep in the mountains at the top of the tall trees. Next family vacation I will be more diligent about steps and how far it is to the water.it just wasn’t the right house for us but for adults and teens , it would be great.

We had the best family vacation at this house. Perfect for our large group. They did have lots of levels in the house and many stairs to the dock. Our 83 year old mother was still able to join us several of the days. We are hoping to stay again soon. Response time from owner was fantastic with questions.

This house was very accommodating for our family of 9. The large porches were a great gathering place. Quite a few steps to get to the boat dock, but once down there it was a very nice place to hang out, swim and dock our 26’ boat. Loved the use of the kyacks.

Great house with plenty of space for all. The stairs were a great way for all of us to get our daily workouts - so no complaints from us! Young adults enjoyed the pool and foosball tables, and all of us enjoyed the dock, the dock's sun deck provided the ladies a nice space for afternoon cocktails. House is in close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, outlets, wineries and the towns of Dahlonega, Helen, and Babyland General in Cleveland for the littles to see the birthplace of the Cabbage Patch kids! Thank you Ray for a great 10 days!

It is a beautiful place with 35 steps in the house and 80 Steps down to the dock. Unfortunately this was a was a little too much for some of the members of my party. The view of the lake is blocked by the trees. Nice location close to Helen Georgia And white water rafting.

This is a beautiful property complete with everything you could possibly need. It is spread out over 4 floors so is perfect for those who would like to have adult areas and kid areas. It was so nice to have the 2 kayaks and a paddle board included with the rental of the house. I didn’t think we would be able to use them in April, but the weather was in the high 70s and the young adults managed to enjoy them without getting wet. We also rented a pontoon boat from Ray one day of our trip and enjoyed a beautiful day exploring the lake and also enjoyed being pulled behind the boat(once again without getting too wet). My husband had knee replacement surgery in December and my daughter has a stress fracture in her foot, so the stairs were a bit of a challenge, but we were able to drive to a public dock that had no stairs and get picked up by the boat from there. I had read the reviews, so I was aware of the 85 stairs to the dock. Going down was not so bad, but getting back up was a killer for those that were out of shape😬
