We had the chance to meet Hien, who did everything she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. This is not a big hotel with 200 rooms and you can clearly see the difference. I would really recommend this place if you are looking for a conveninent and amazing location. I would come back without a doubt if I'm in the area again.

Quaint, quiet, clean and charming river front hotel only a short walk away from old town. Staff is super friendly and treats you like family during your stay. Bonus, their made-to-order omelets for breakfast are delish!

Beautiful setting for this hotel, right on the riverside, and within walking distance of the old town. Hien made us feel so welcome and gave us tips on shops to visit and activities to do while in Hoi An. She even hand wrote a list of information for us to keep and looked after us like a mother for the whole of our stay.

This was a great experience for me. The hotel is small...I think 11 rooms...and it sits right on the river with a walking path (paved) along the river that leads to the old market in Hoi An. The staff...well, I would marry them if I could. They were such a delight and were so helpful to me in finding restaraunts, optometrist, and motorcycle rental at a moments notice. Free breakfast every morning, which was always followed by me sitting in the outdoor eating area and watching the boats going by. And the most touching part...when it was time for me to go to the airport, my ride showed up and the staff followed me out to the car and said goodbye.

Very lovely hotel within walking distance to the old town. You can either walk along the river or through the town. Room is large and clean. As per the photos, the shower / toilet are separated from the bedroom by a frosted glass which might be off putting for some. Breakfast option and dining room are great. It includes a small buffet as well as made to order eggs, pancakes. The lady at the reception is very savvy about everything in Hoi An. Lovely to relax by the pool. Definitely recommend this boutique hotel versus cheaper options available in the new part of Hoi An town.

The hotel was right on the river, very convenient to ancient town. Rooms were large, modern and comfortable. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great with lots of delicious fresh fruit. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Property was in a great area on the river just outside Ancient Town are (5-10min walk). Breakfast was wonderful with made to order eggs. The staff is super friendly. Hein helped organize 2 wonderful tours. And free bikes to use to get around. Would stay again.

After a few days in Ho Chi Minh City this hotel was a wonderful break from the noise and constant motion. The room had a wonderful balcony on the river and was located on a smaller street in the old town. A quick walk along the river and you were in the middle of the action. The staff is wonderful and so helpful in answering our questions. Next time we visit we will definitely stay here again.

Loved the view from our room. Very roomy and comfortable, love that it’s along the river walk making the trek into town more peaceful and less chaotic versus the busy street! Hien was a wonderful concierge. I’d describe this hotel as comfortable, simple, relaxing. Perhaps not so friendly to those who aren’t ok with a flight or two of stairs (we did not mind). A nice option for anyone visiting Hoi An.

Highly recommend!
We only had one night in Hoi An, and would have loved to stay longer! The best people run this hotel and it’s beautifully placed right next to the river. The room had a great view, the pool was nice, and they also made good cocktails. It’s a bit of a walk to down town but it’s easy with good views along the way. Our group of three booked 2 rooms and will definitely stay on our next trip to Vietnam.

The property does not refill bottles of water, and only offers to sell you more plastic bottled water. No eco-friendliness. However, the property itself is beautiful and close to the Old Town. I’d say here again and buy more bottled water with significant irritation.

The hotel is a bit far from the main attractions, but it is walkable. The reception is excellent and it was the only hotel in Vietnam that provided information about the attraction, map, rest recommendations. The room is great and big and has a beautiful view.

We had a great experience here. Hein made it even better with her wonderful assistance and advice. It was in a prime location, very clean and a good breakfast. The best was each day waking up and looking at the river. Room 101 looked directly over the river, it was definitely a good choice staying here. Staff were exceptional. Highly recommend. Plus, also a mini mart next door (good for kids).

The room was very basic and the beds were very hard. The bathroom was poorly designed and flooded after every use. The staff were friendly but this was a very basic hotel and overpriced. I did not want to stay longer than one night but was refused a refund. Not sure if this was because of the hotel refusing or wotif just wanting to keep my money. On the whole it was a disappointing experience.

We need a reason when you were at the hotel but you did not. And we also ask the Travel Agent that we will help you sell the room and if possible, we will refund. Fantastic Stay
A short walk from the hustle and bustle of the old town, this hotel is a hidden gem. The staff instantly makes you feel welcome. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hein especially , was excellent. She took the time to show us where to shop, where to eat, etc. It was extremely helpful :) She always took the time to greet as us as we were coming or going. It made us feel special :) The rooms are LARGE, clean and have a great view of the river. Our expectations were totally exceeded. We whole-heartedly recommend the Riverside White House Hotel. 1000 stars!!!

The property was everything we needed and Hein, the manager, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay in the hotel again and cannot recommend it highly enough.
