The pictures and descriptions online are deceiving . The only good thing about this stay was the attendant who managed the property helped me out with a surprise for a birthday . That was on point everything else was not a good experience. The back doors do not lock AT ALL. So there’s a concern for safety there . There were holes in the walls by the baseboards in some rooms and on two occasions we found massive spiders , one being above the bed . We understand we’re in a remote area with nature but these spiders were the size of my hand . I’ve had bad experiences in the past with spider bites and that was two too many for us . When we decided to cut our stay I contacted the owner and he said that’s not a legitimate reason to leave . This was After I explained the spider issue and the back doors not locking at all. His response was careless and said he treats the property every 3 months for pests . But if you have doors that don’t lock and not close all the way and holes in the walls , you’re going to have things coming into that house no matter you treating the property . Needless to say the owner was careless and did not seem that the issues at hand were important . I feel first and foremost safety and security is number one when staying in someone else’s property and we barely slept the night before worried that anyone could come in there . I will not recommend this property nor this host . Everything about this property was deceiving !
