we only stayed one night in the area for a quick trip to celebrate a birthday. We didn’t take advantage of the rooftop bar, something it is known for. We were on the 2nd floor and had to wear ear plugs to sleep as we could hear every step taken above us and it was way past quiet hours.

The hotel staff our last day were awful. The cleaning maid walked into our room without knocking while I was standing naked in our room trying to get dressed. The matter worsened when Brandon, the manager, was extremely unprofessional, cavalier and smug. He actually laughed at me when I informed him of what happened. He stated if you’re late, we don’t need to knock. Since when does human decency leave to that degree. His customer service was poor and I would never stay there again.

Great location, very walkable to everything and easy to get on the bike path. We also loved the rooftop bar. Only downside was thin walls…when in the bathroom we could hear everything from the room next door.

Beautiful hotel. Perfect location for travelers heading or hanging out up north. Charlevoix is wonderful! Beach town vibes, great shops and food. Boats to watch. Michigan at its best!
