Charming Lake House, Lake View, Private Pier, Bugaboo Bar and Water Sports!

Our charming lake house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home right across the street from the lake with unobstructed view of the lake along with exclusive, gated access to a private park with 700 feet of frontage and pier on the lake.

Escape into the charm of lake life at our cherished "Ohana House." Plenty of parking, dual outdoor sitting areas and lakefront views! Heated/AC game room, and lake-facing deck with patio swing and gated lawn. Fire pit in the front yard with gas grill and deck attached to kitchen with modular seating for 8 guests, and another fire pit in the private lakefront park.

Home is equipped with central Heat & Air conditioning, high-speed wi-fi, big screen TV, fire pit, gas grill with built-in propane, two standing showers (shower stool included), jacuzzi bathtub, desk workspace, gated back yard, washer/dryer, dishwasher, keurig and pot coffee machines, and filtered water dispenser.

The private lakefront park has a picnic area, a pier to walk or dine on the water, and swings and sand for the kids. Only a handful of homes in the vicinity are part of this association and private park (so it never gets crowded and you won't find a nicer access to the lake anywhere in the entire town!).

We are just three houses away from Bugaboo's bar & grill where you can enjoy great food and drinks, lakefront seating, and lake sport rentals for Kayaks and Stand-Up Paddle Boards.

We're only a five minute drive to the upscale Lighthouse restaurant. The Cedar Lake History Museum at the Lassen Resort, and farmer's market, are also a 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk. Downtown Chicago is about a one-hour drive away.

Soap, toiletries, linens, towels, silverware, coffee, bluetooth speakers, volleyball, and all basic cooking or grilling necessities (and then some!) are provided. We store a kayak, cornhole/bags game, and a weber grill for our guests (request the kayak or cornhole in advance so your hosts can set you up). Be sure to try the indoor Ms. Pac Man arcade game, too!

What guests love most about our rental home is the vacation feel from our lake-life decor, and the helpfulness of local hosts, Eric and Marisa Moon.

> Pets are allowed ONLY when requested prior to arrival, as part of your reservation. A Pet Fee is included in your total payments.

>>> Backyard, on lake side, is fully gated so medium-sized dogs can roam unleashed.

> Staircase to bedrooms is moderately steep and not recommended for individuals with mobility and balance issues

> Security "Nest" cameras are running 24/7 at the front and back doors (exterior only), viewable by hosts at all times.

> Private pier is not for boat or jet ski parking or launching. Guests may walk the pier, relax on the pier picnic bench, and step into the shallow lake from the pier ladders. For boat/jet ski launch or slip rentals, guests will contact Pine Crest Marina which is just a 3-minute drive from our home. The largest free public pier is across the lake at "Cedar Lake Public Access Site" (on Google Maps).
