I arrived early. Although I could not check in until 4pm, all I had to do was leave my luggage in one of the lockers available at the front entrance, set my password, and off I go. I was surprised by the large front communal area which was brightly lit and very welcoming. They also had a row of comic books along the corridor. The female dorm was big, which made AC circulation a bit difficult, but they provided fans also.
WIFI was fast. Mattress was a bit thin- but had the same experience in Fukuoka and Kagoshima - so maybe it's standard?
