Forget all the fancy hotels, this place is much better! The location and conditions of our rooms not only exceeded my expectations but we got even more. And the cherry on top was the kindness of the staff, the family. Lidia and Vincenzo made us feel at home. Unbelievable experience. Breakfast perfect and not just the breathtaking view on the terrace but the selection and rich taste of everything. And if you need any info, Vincenzo's knowledge and recommendations are better than Google search. If we come back to Amalfi it will be because of them!

Exceeded my expectations! I am not easily impressed but the hospitality and attention from every member of this team was amazing. Before I arrived fr Rome I got alerts/updates from them re ferry service and possible needs before my arrival. As predicted there was no ferry service, lines for buses were ridiculous and taxis were limited and overcharging. Thanks to them our driver was at the train waiting. We received a warm welcome and a lovely room with balcony overlooking the town. The location was perfect, the breakfast was fulfilling and we slept comfortably. It is a small hotel that operates on a larger scale with someone always at the front desk and items like insignia on slippers and toiletries. The fridge is stocked daily and room service was great. Vincenzo, our main contact helped us daily with plans and travel to Capri and Positano. Vincenzo, thank you again for your kindness! Marco and Lydia were so sweet and made us feel so welcome. I would love to return and recommend to anyone. 10/10!

We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the Staff treated you like family. Beach towels are provided. Don’t hesitate to ask the staff for anything they will be happy to provide you with local information.

amazing stay right in the centre of Amalfi town - next to all the local restaurants and the port to catch the ferry to different parts of the coast. Great hosts - Vincenzo and his sons Marco and Giulio were extremely helpful and approachable with everything - arranging transfers, recommendations for beaches and restaurants, tours etc and helping with luggages! Breakfast was lovely on the terrace. Also just round the corner there is a bakery called Pamificio where you will find the best brioches and pastries! Overall great stay at Residenza Luce

Great hotel and position
Lovely small hotel in the centre of Amalfi town. Very helpful staff providing advice. The breakfast was far superior to other breakfasts we had on this trip. Our room for 3 overlooked the Main Street which winds through Amalfi but there was no noise in the room. Room was very close to the Duomo and sea/ferries and SITA bus station.

I am so happy we stayed at Residenza Luce! We took the train from Rome to Salerno with plans to to arrive to Amalfi via boat, however on the day we were due to arrive there was a storm and all ferry services were suspended. Vincenzo reached out to us and arranged a car service to pick us up and transport us safely from Salerno to the property. Once we arrived in Amalfi, Vincenzo and his staff met us and brought our very large bags up to the hotel within minutes! On top of this the hotel was a great location right in the heart of Amalfi town yet the doors were completely sound proof when closed. Breakfast was also spectacular and the staff so helpful and kind. If we ever have the privilege of traveling to Amalfi again we would surely stay here again.

Luce was in a perfect location in Amalfi and they were the best staff! The staff was super helpful in orchestrating a driving service from Salerno, and it worked out perfectly for my wife and I. We were super thankful for the offer to have car service, and we could not have asked for a better stay or stay for our time in Amalfi.

Residenza Luce is a family run hotel located in the heart of Amalfi. We were able to easily walk to shopping, restaurants, bus and ferry. Vincenzo, the owner, was very accommodating and Lydia, his mother-in-law, served a great breakfast each morning. We came by car and we’re met in the port by Vincenzo. He had our luggage taken to our room and our car parked in a private garage. We accessed the car when we wanted. We will definitely stay here again!!! Amalfi is a great central location to work the Amalfi Coast.

The property is beautiful, everything is clean, the beds are firm but comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. The hotel staff is friendly and made us feel very welcome. A lovely breakfast was included during our stay. We loved our mornings on the terrace sipping coffee surrounded by beautiful Amalfi. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

We had an amazing stay here, staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They gave us great recommendations and made sure we were taken care of. Host was very accommodating and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. WhatsApp comms worked well and promptly responded to. Lovely rooms and a massive buffet breakfast. Nonna was so warm and welcoming, even though she didn’t speak much English, was sorry to leave her!

Vincenzo is a host like none other. The Residenza is absolutely gorgeous, the room was lovely and the breakfast was to die for. But the level of service was most notable and far exceeded my expectations. Our luggage was delayed and arrived a day after we did. To save me driving back to Naples Vincenzo asked one of his staff to detour from their trip to Naples and collect the bag. They even texted a picture of the bag to Vincenzo so I could confirm it was the right one. Who does that? I cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem in Amalfi. Go, spoil yourself, and have a magical stay in paradise. You won't regret it!

Wonderful Stay - Outstanding Service
We couldn't have found a more convenient, lovely hotel run by a very friendly, customer service focused family. The hotel was located footsteps away from the Amalfi Cathedral, restaurants, shopping, and bus ports. The owner couldn't have more accommodating, coordinating every part of our stay, right down to porter service for our luggage. He even upgraded our room at no charge. Breakfast was very good and offered many tasty options. It did get a bit noisy at times due to the night life and early morning garbage pick-up, so bringing young children may not be advised, but we loved our stay and would highly recommend it. We would definitely come back.

Best location in Amalfi, right in a middle of the city center 5 min walk to the port and bus station. Amazing hospitality by the hotel owner! He met me at the ferry station to help with the bags. Delicious home cooked breakfast on the terrace overlooking Amalfi. Will definitely be back again.

This charming hotel is virtually at the foot of the steps of a beautiful cathedral in the lovely town of Amalfi. Within a few short steps you have wonderful coffee shops, bars and great restaurants. Delightfully, although the hotel is central guests are able to have a very peaceful sleep because of the wooden shutters. The rooms are spacious, very clean and very comfortable. They have lovely Italian tiles on the floors and many have large balconies with charming views. Breakfast is gorgeous with a great choice of fresh produce and baked good and in warmer times, one can take breakfast on the roof terrace. We managed this twice and we we there in February. This is just a lovely place to stay for all the reasons above but mainly because of the absolutely wonderful service provided. Our hosts were so helpful, kind and friendly. We were given advice on where to visit and the best way to do our trips. We were helped to get to our rather out of the way restaurant choice and were welcomed with open arms every time we came back to the hotel or went up for breakfast. I will definitely be returning.

This boutique hotel is in the heart of Amalfi. It is steps from the piazza, many restaurants, gelato, local vendors and a 3 min walk to the beach, taxis, buses and ferries. Vincenzo and his entire family are very welcoming. They are willing to help organize anything you need. The breakfast on the roof top terrace is made by his mom and is delicious. The rooms are very roomy and nicely decorated. The bathroom has plenty of room and a spacious shower. We had a small balcony off our room that was so nice to sit on and watch the hustle and bustle of people.
