It really is a traditional Japanese hotel and experience and loved the friendly and helpful staff, and the location is just a short 10 min scenic stroll across the river to the bus/train station. "Really enjoyed my 6-night stay here. It really is a traditional Japanese hotel and experience and loved the friendly and helpful staff, and the location is just a short 10 min scenic stroll across the river to the bus/train station. The half-board option is a must if you love Japanese food and each night was like a little banquet with an array of different and fresh local dishes, and was great value. Not a 5-star hotel by any means if thats your thing, but all in all a great stay and good location and Yudanaka is quaint little village at the foot of the Alps, that is worth a wander around, as Shibuya Onsen and Snow Monkeys are closeby.
