We stayed at Glacier Lodge 128 for 6 days over the new year.
From start to finish, our stay was amazing! Comms with Devon prior to our stay was great and informative. The check-in process was seamless.
The apartment itself was in a nice location, 2 mins away from the Blackcomb gondolas, near all the restaurants, bars etc on the Blackcomb side. The apartment was clean, warm and all amenities were provided in abundance which was a really pleasant surprise - all we had to buy was food for the stay.
Facilities in the apartment were great for us. 2 comfortable queen beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge gave us adequate space for 2 adults and 2 kids. A large smart TV with cable provided plenty of relaxation in the evenings. Outside, the hot hot-tub and heated pool allowed for a nice recovery after a day on the slopes.
All in all, we were really happy we stayed at GL128 and booked with Devon! I would be more than happy to consider this y again for a future visit!
Tips:
1. Hot water will run out quickly after 2/3 people using it, as it appears to be shared in the building but give it 20 mins and expect a nice hot shower!
2. Most Whistler shuttles will drop you at the Gateway loop which is about a 15 min walk from Glacier Lodge and not easy with luggage/board bags. Try and arrange a taxi in advance or book a shuttle that will drop you at the lodge.
